We were in Town for a wedding. Great location for walkinc to downtown. Awesome view. Wish there were directions for heat and tv.

Overall nice place with a great location. Stairs are slightly difficult but understandable since it's an older building.

Fantastic location and great upgraded amenities
This location is fantastic, just a short walk to everything you’d want to see and do in Lake Placid. Tons of parking options, easy checkin process and the apartment was very nice. Comfortable bed, lovely view from the porch, and everything had just been remodeled so it was nice and new.

Great location
The location was great. Hiking to the third floor was not terrible. The decor and cleanliness were top notch. Only complaints were that it was cold in the apartment. The space heater was not enough to take the chill out of the air especially Saturday night when the temperatures dipped below freezing. The one thing we expect when we rent a space is to be able to control the ac/heat. The registers I. The apartment were never warm. The parking leaves less to be desired for when you own a full size pickup truck. The alley/driveway to the back was extremely narrow. Parking on the street during high traffic times makes it difficult to get out. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay!
We had a great week long visit and were lucky enough to get this great spot for the 2 of us. It’s a perfect location, close to downtown and walking distance to everything. The hosts were very easy to work with and had great communication and answered questions quickly. The views are incredible as well! We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous!
Excellent location, clean and well appointed with top notch furnishings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The stairs to this third story unit are difficult to navigate- older building with irregularities, but the unit itself was well worth the climb. We are in our 60s and in good shape, but anyone with walking difficulties may want to look elsewhere.

Property was in great shape. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. Venue was very quiet, as was the neighborhood. Good location - within 2 blocks of the Olympic Center/village shops and restaurants. Only one suggestion - a handrail for the stairs would be an excellent addition.

Cozy comfortable unit
Absolutely adorable, studio apartment with sweet Adirondack decor. Spotlessly clean. This place has everything you need to stay comfortably for 2 people. A nice bonus is the porch overlooking Main Street with a lovely mountainside view. It is on the second floor so plan to climb stairs. Plenty of off street parking too.

Mountain view relaxation
We wanted a place to relax and de-stress for a couple of days. Whether sitting outside on the private deck, or inside in the comfortable chairs looking out through the picture window, this place fit the bill perfectly. Just be aware that it is on the third floor, up two flights. But the payoff is that you are high enough to have an unobstructed view of the mountains.

Cozy Studio Apt
We had a fabulous stay at this cute little studio apt. Everything is like new. Had everything we needed for a three day visit. Centrally located in downtown Lake Placid. Very cool decor. And what a view! Plenty of free parking. This was the last stop in our 35 day New England road trip, and this was our favorite lodging of the trip. Lots of stairs to the apt (well worth it) and a lively bar/bowling alley across the street. Neither bothered us, but worth mentioning. We highly recommend staying at Summit Suite.

Perfect Place for a Lk Placid Getawqy!
We were so impressed with this IMMACULATE apartment. We like things very clean and this adorable unit was SPOTLESS! The bed was so comfortable after miles of walking Lake Placid. It’s so conveniently located…we parked our car in the driveway and hit everywhere we wanted to go by foot. It’s perfectly decorated with Adk rustic decor but with a new and modern flair. The hots have done an amazing job!! PS. We went to The White Bear, which is a fantastic restaurant that just opened and a short walk from the rental unit. It just opened a few days ago, we highly recommend that too! Thanks for a great stay! We will definitely be back!!!! 😊🙌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lake Placid Pad
We had a wonderful time in this newly renovated flat on Main Street. Clean with comfy bed and chairs, deck with a beautiful view. Beware, no railings on walkway from parking to porch, 3rd floor studio apartment with narrow and shallow stairs. Music could be heard clearly from bar/bowling alley across the street, but we really enjoyed it and closing windows blocked it out if needed. No dresser for clothes, just pegs for hanging, no smoke detector inside the flat and fire extinguishers free-standing on stairway landings.

Perfect
We rented this apartment for a quick extended weekend getaway. The location was outstanding. Once we parked our car we did not have to move it until we left for the weekend. The apartment was absolutely amazing. It was so clean and the views were amazing. The themeing was great even down to the light switches and knobs on the cabinet. We will definitely rent here again in the future. The only thing to be slightly careful with and again not a complaint is the first set of stairs are very narrow, as far as depth. I am only a size 9 in women’s, and I could not fit my foot on the stairs. However, by the second staircase, this problem corrected itself.

Good BUT Not For Us
We spent a long weekend at this property. The communication leading up was efficient and made for a very easy check-in, regarding directions, parking, and code to unlock door. The property wasn’t well-maintained with safety precautions for the weather. The stairs from the road up to the property were covered with snow and ice. There was a bag of salt at the entrance, which we did use to sprinkle the stairs later on our way out. When entering from the back parking lot, there was no railing on the ledge. With icy conditions and possibly children, it would’ve been a dangerous experience. The drop was at least 10 ft, we couldn’t believe there wasn’t a rail. Upon entering the building, we were located on the third floor. The stairs and hallways were extremely narrow. It made for a cautious walk up with our bags and even more cautious walk back down. The room was updated in comparison to the building. The kitchen and bathroom were all very clean, along with the entire suite. There was a very nice view from the balcony. The space was definitely enough for my wife and me. I read the reviews prior to going and many said how clean it was, and IT WAS very clean. We were grateful for that. The only reason that we will not come back, is that the building is so old, the walls are so thin. We could hear EVERYTHING in the room above us! We were woken up with anyone entering or leaving the building, along with anything above us. Definitely for the young adults who only want a place to lay

Peaceful Placid
High Peaks is a great space! The views were breathtaking! The apartment was laid out quite efficiently and was very clean. It is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and Olympic venues
