"Fawn Ridge Lodge" located 1 mile from Lake Placid Village, is a beautiful 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath Adirondack style retreat with a massive stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings, gourmet kitchen and master bath with jetted tub. The lower level family room has a cozy fireplace, pool table, sauna, hot tub and movie room. In addition to the large first floor master bedroom, there are 3 bedrooms upstairs, one called "Happy Camper" with 3 sets of log bunk beds. There is a beautiful wrap around deck with patio furniture as well as a screened in porch and a fire pit is just steps from the hot tub.

This is a nice house - basement has lots of good stuff like two movie rooms, pool table, hot tub. Kitchen is nice and big and love the screened in eating porch. So close to Lake Placid but also close to hiking, etc.

Annual Family Getaway
This is our second visit to Fawn Ridge Lodge and we had another great family weekend! The home is comfortable and spacious with enough amenities to keep six adults and four active kids (ranging from 2 to 16) happy and entertained. The kitchen is awesome and we made a wonderful dinner at home followed by family games around the huge dining table. We highly recommend a family getaway to this beautiful home.

Great home!
My active adult sisters , brothers in law and I and my 91 year old mother enjoyed our stay in this beyond beautiful and comfortable home . A sweet trail down the road, xcountry skiing nearby, downhill at whiteface, great restaurants and so much to do even with. 2 days of rain. The best part was returning to such comfort at the end of the day. As usual the home is better in person than the posted pictures.

Perfect Get Away
Fawn Ridge is a beautiful home. Nicely decorated for a cozy, yet elegant, feel. Lots of room to spread out. It’s close to town and a grocery store is just down the street but it is located in a lovely, quiet, wooded neighborhood. We hope to return next year with more family.

The property is beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. This home has so much to offer. We had 10 people from toddlers to grandparents and everyone was more than comfortable. The owner was very responsive to an unexpected and unavoidable issue and had things addressed promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Annual Ladies weekend
House was gorgeous and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend away. It was nice to not have to bring bedding and towels! Plenty of space for our group of 9. There was something everyone and we didn't need to leave the house for the weekend except to get more firewood. The house was close to town but the area was very private. It would be a great place for a family get together in the summer. Hot tub was big and clean. Nice having a pool table and movie room in the basement.

Where are the kitchen scissors?
We had a great time, no doubt. Fawn Ridge is a clean, comfortable and a great location. The only things missing were kitchen scissors, some extra serving bowls and a small table between the 2 living room chairs. For 3 days we were able to manage just fine. But for longer stays it would be nice to have those extra things.

Beautiful Adirondack home
If you want a place that is within walking distance of downtown, this is not the place. However, the home is beautiful and it is a very short drive to the center of Lake Placid. The decor is classic Adirondack style. We loved the large table to gather and play games. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed. If anyone has any mobility issues, please note there are stairs to get in. There is a first level master bedroom with a walk in shower. Communication with the owner was fantastic! Questions were answered extremely fast. Our group enjoyed our weekend trip!

Family Retreat - 3 generations
Our week at Fawn Ridge Lodge was everything we needed & expected it to be. There was so much for our multi-generational group to do on site & within a few miles of the property. The entire family enjoyed the billiard & theatre rooms, the hot tub, & the fire pit. Our teens loved the bunk room! Some hiked, biked, & paddled. Others sought out eateries, museums & driving tours. The kitchen is well appointed & the dining room table easily seats 10. The layout of the house is such that depending on your mood you can gather in a group for conversation or find a cozy nook for some quiet time. Although the house is in a neighborhood, it is surrounded by woods. The only neighbors we saw were a doe & her fawn. A good time was had by all!

Great home, close to everything, very comfortable
This home truly has everything you can want from a ski home. Close to town, close to the slopes, plenty of activities around to choose from for the non-skiers in the group and a beautiful, comfortable home to relax in once the mountain closes. My group of friends have an annual ski trip and after 7 years we’re unanimous in this being their favorite home that we have stayed in. The hot tub was beautiful and perfect for sore muscles, the pool table was a great activity to have competitions around, and the TVs in the basement were perfect for watching the Super Bowl game. The kitchen impressed even our picky cooks and there was everything you needed for cooking for a group of 13. They have both a k-cup machine and a regular coffee pot so you have your options on which to bring. The photos don’t quite do the home justice and we were all exceptionally impressed on how much space there actually was in the home. Overall we had a great trip and are looking forward to future stays in this beautiful home and area.

BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING HOME!!
This house along with its home owner Eric, were absolutely amazing. When we first arrived it really took our breath away. Not only was it beautiful inside and out, it was very clean!! Everything you would ever need to relax, cook, and entertain were there. Everything was organized and in working order. The surrounding area around the house was very private from the road and other houses, which was nice! Plenty of room to park vehicles in the horse shoe driveway as well as the three car garage. The basement/game room was our favorite! The combination of comfy chairs, pool table, 2 flat screen tv's and hot tub just around the corner outside, were top off with a surround sound system! The sound system was very user friendly as it had a dock for which you could plug your iPhone or iPod. The sleeping quarters were very clean and comfy. Especially the bunk bed room!! Great for a family with kids! I would strongly recommend this house to anyone who is planning a vacation near Lake Placid!! It's just a few minutes from down town as well as golf courses, ski mountains and of course the lake. We never ran out of things to do here....I just wish we had more time!! I definelty plan on coming back!! It was hand downs the best house I've ever rented and we had a great experience staying here!! Look no further....THIS IS THE PLACE!!
