Large comfortable house in great, quiet location!
I could live here! The lake is quiet and beautiful, the grounds are large and great for play. We spent hours in the canoe and paddle boat and had our own paddle board. The lower porch is enclosed which made it easy to keep our dog safe. Huge playroom. We got a kick out of the urinal in the downstairs bathroom. It may be important to know that the two queen beds upstairs do not have a door to the room. Playroom is big with lots to do. We loved our stay and will be back!

Buck Family Summer Adventure in Lake Lure
The property is large and accommodates easily a large group. Each family had space for privacy, but plenty of room for gathering to cook and share meals together, plus play together. The local lake beach and rustic swimming hole are minutes away by car and add to the adventure. This is bear country - keep the grill grease catcher in at night. We saw herons and hatched turtle eggs! There will always be renter needs, and the property manager and assistant were responsive to our requests. Thank you Vess and Calvin.

Perfect Vacation
It is so quiet and peaceful. Can drive to numerous amounts of hiking trails. Can drive into downtown lake lure or chimney rock. This was our second year staying there and we will be back!

While the home was older and had some quirks including the upstairs bedroom being hot, that does not preclude me from giving the property an excellent review. The property was quiet, beautiful and peaceful. I did not want to leave!

Birthday present for my wife
The lodge was awesome, very clean, and on the lake with a canoe and paddle boat. Restaurants were close by, for about anything one would like to eat. Sitting on the deck rocked big time. We will return with more of our family soon I hope.

Unique lake home property. Very secluded. Perfect for young children, and adults. Loved the swimming hole and swimming right off the dock. Beautiful views from the decks. Water all around us. Lots to do in the area. A very relaxing week.

Excellent location and house accommodated us all
We had a great week. We loved the house and it accommodated our party of 11 nicely. We saw a black bear roaming the property early one morning which was amazing. Very peaceful and calm atmosphere. The porch was amazing and we enjoyed drinking our coffee every morning on the porch. Just a few things we wanted to address. The tile in the main level bathroom is loose and almost cut some feet. The instruction from the gate to the house were a bit confusing and could have been more clear. The wifi information in the email was wrong. Updating the email information sent out before arrival would be great. The microwave could be replaced. The air system was set to change every few hours which made it difficult to get a comfortable temperature. Regardless of these issues mentioned we would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a great place to vacation.

The property was well kept. The house was great. We had A/C issues 2 days into our 6 night stay. The A/C would freeze up and the house was HOT! Owners agreed for a partial refund. Would recommend as a rental

Great Lake House
This house is a great house on the lake for kids from 5 to 75! The location is amazing and very easy to travel to from Greenville, SC. The game room downstairs is decked out with fun and games. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the balconies that look out over the lake. The Lodge’s private sandy beach was the perfect place to enjoy an evening beverage and talk about the fun we had all day. We are looking forward to going back to The Lodge at Mirror Lake.

The location of this property was absolutely perfect. Some minor suggested are: to get a new recliner, buy a new microwave; change out ceiling tiles in basement; trust your guests with more than one towel. We LOVED your unit, just a few suggested items. THANKS for a great new year's celebration.

Beautiful property and neighborhood. House was clean. The main reason I gave it a 4/5 though is in regards to the mattresses. They were firm as a rock and so uncomfortable. Both me and my husband had trouble sleeping because of this.

Family time
If you are a triathlete like me, this lake house is the perfect spot for you. 26 miles of gravel road to bike, run, and the lake to swim. The house is clean and you have everything you need to cook your meals. Very relaxing place to decompress from hectic life. We were in town for a funeral and this house provided the perfect environment for the family to share wonderful memories of our dad. We definitely will stay there again. The only thing the place needs is a enclose fire pit for a fire and make smoars. ---- The Gale's and the Felton

Great mountain getaway
We’ve rented here before and we were eager to return. My Dads Parkinson has progressed so this property was much easier to navigate. Gosh. Loved the lake and the spacious house for each of us. Loved the community. Easy access to regional parks etc. love to return again

Great Experience!
Secluded area with lots of room and plenty of things for adults and kids to do. Kitchen is well stocked and linens being provided is great. Paddle boat and canoe was a hit with all ages. Close to town to enjoy things there. Downfall is we don't believe the lake is stocked with fish. No matter where you tried nothing was biting. Overall it was a great experience. Will suggest this rental to family and friends.
