Welcome to "Skip to my Lure," our beautiful 5-bedroom lake house in Lake Lure, North Carolina! Surrounded by stunning mountain views and nestled just 5 minutes away from the crystal clear lake. Our home is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and create lasting memories with your loved ones. Whether you're looking to fish, swim, hike, or soak up the natural beauty of the area, you'll find plenty to do and see during your stay. This home has been carefully designed with families in mind. This house is being completely renovated and will have something to offer everyone.

Our home is situated in the perfect location for those looking to explore the beauty of Lake Lure. Just a 5-minute drive from public beach access, 5 minutes from the local grocery store, Ingles, and 10 minutes from the famous Chimney Rock attraction. The towns of Forest City and Rutherfordton are also just a short drive away, at 30 and 25 minutes, respectively. And for those looking to explore further afield, the vibrant city of Asheville is just a 45-minute drive away.

Our spacious three-story home offers the perfect balance of privacy and togetherness for your family. With ample space to spread out, everyone can enjoy their own personal retreat while coming together in the common areas. The wrap-around deck, complete with outdoor seating, is the perfect spot to take in the mountain views and savor the delicious aromas from the 6-burner BBQ grill as you cook up your favorite dishes. The large backyard offers plenty of room for your family to run around and play games like corn hole (provided), or gather around the fire pit for an unforgettable night under the stars. We even provide the ultimate S'more kits for an added touch of fun. Your family will create memories to last a lifetime at our home.

Our home features an in-home movie theatre, complete with surround sound and theatre-style seating, providing endless entertainment for your family to enjoy their favorite TV shows and movies. After a few films, step over to the custom-built bar room, equipped with a built-in mini refrigerator, to stock your favorite wine or drinks while watching your friends and family play pool on the full-size billiards table.

For ultimate relaxation, step outside to the brand new 5-person hot tub, with 25 adjustable jets that target shoulders, back muscles, and feet for a massaging hydrotherapy experience. The fountain with back-lit LED lights offers a serene atmosphere for unwinding after a day of hiking, shopping, or swimming in the lake.

Big "60" Family Birthday Weekend
This was a great stay for our blended family! We had plenty of space for everyone in this spacious, clean home to sleep and not feel crowded! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub and a nice fire Saturday evening with s'more for everyone! It was convenient to the apple orchard, Chimney Rock, town, and the grocery store. Thanks again for a delightful stay and we will definitely be back!

Family Week at Lake Lure
We enjoyed our stay at Skip to My Lure. Your house provided us with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The pool table, movie theater, hot tub, and video games provided entertainment inside. Outside, the fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Great family gathering home
We stayed at this property with 10 people between the ages of 2 and 73. There were 3 children who loved the bunk beds, the games, the run around area outside and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The adults enjoyed the home theater area, playing pool, the hot tub, the games, and relaxing on the deck. It was a quiet area that was easy to get to in the Lake Lure area. Although not on the lake, it is an easy drive to the beach and boat rentals. Communication with the owner was excellent! Check in was easy!

Our stay was awesome! The property had many amenities for nice weather and if you’re stuck indoors because of rainy weather! We had fun playing games, enjoying the hot tub and home theater. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking a large meal and the location has restaurants near by for eating out. The communication was great with the host and they had comprehensive videos to explain the thermostat and other home items. We would gladly stay again!

This house was probably the cleanest and most well appointed rental we have stayed in so far! Designer touches every where. The kitchen was well stocked. Also everything in the kitchen (cookware, plates, utensils) seemed new which is nice. The beds were made like a 5 star resort. Michael was quick to respond to any questions I had. There were so many wonderful added touches to this home. Everything seemed new. I would highly recommend Skip to my Lure. We loved our time there.

Awesome Lake Lure Retreat!
We tend to rent two house for vacation a year, so we have been in a lot of rental homes. I can say that this property has so much to offer everyone, and you won't get bored on a rainy day :). Movie theater, arcade games (beat my Galaga high score if you can), pool table, fire pit, hot tub, hammock, Xbox, etc! Layout allows for privacy with bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. Furniture is comfortable and in great condition. Beds were all very comfortable, and everything was super clean and ready to be enjoyed! Anyone looking to enjoy lake lure but wanting to stay away from the crowds and noise at night should book this house!

Wonderful family place
The owner’s have done a remarkable job in transforming this home into an entertainment center for the family. There are lots of near by entertainment opportunities close by as well. The yard is quite the show place for plants of many varieties. I spent some wonderful time gazing at the flowering plants and shrubs. The kids enjoyed the hot tub every day. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a good family vacation or getaway.

This home was awesome! We enjoyed playing pool, watching movies, and generally just being with each other in such a nice location. The weather outside did not cooperate, but that did not take away from the experience we had at this home. If anything, the rainy weather made us appreciate the home even more. The host was so pleasant and such a great communicator at all times! We would definitely go back to this home and hope we have an opportunity to do so in the future. You will not regret staying at this location!

We loved our stay! The host was very communicative and accommodating. The home had everything we needed for adults and kids. Area was gorgeous and we will definitely book this property or any and all properties this host may have. Above and beyond expectation. The movie theater was awesome and we loved having kinship around the camp fire area. The home was clean and conveniently located near a grocery store, with fun local things to do in the area.
