Enjoyed the view from above. Also enjoyed seeing two eagles - one bald and one golden. Plenty of space for our group and everything we needed was supplied. Would attempt to stay again if ever in the area.

Very spacious for our 9 family members. Two of the bedrooms do not have closets, which was somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise, we had a great stay

Beautiful home with ample space. Kitchen and great room is perfect for a large group. Only a couple of suggestions….more TV’s and storage for clothes in the bedrooms….neither of which are a deal breaker.

Terrific mountain home in Lake Junaluska!
The home was in a great location steps away from Lake Junaluska, and minutes from Maggie Valley. The property was very clean, spacious and inviting. The kitchen was fully equipped to accommodate many guests and meal preparations. We had a memorable Christmas holiday. We would recommend adding TVs in each bedroom. It was unfortunate to only have 2 TVs for eight of us to share. Also stock the kitchen with additional tea towels and dish cloths, as they were sparse. Overall a wonderful way to experience North Carolina.

Love the Location!!
The location is great! Everything you need for family and kids. 4 adults, 7yr old, 11yr old, 12yr,13yr, and 16yr old..Allll had a blast. We enjoyed the pool, although small, paddle boarding, and kayak, volleyball, and park all together in one spot. The coffee , gift shop and ice cream shop all on site very close to cabin with a relaxing back deck to sitand read on. The neighbors across the street are very very friendly, we saw bald Eagle babies nesting in their Pine tree. Lake is clean to swim in. We took the 3 mile walk and bike ride around the Lake. Mountains Galore!! Both Porches were very relaxing. We enjoyed the large Family table for.games at night. Cabin was clean and cozy. Jacuzzi tub was definitely used after long days of hiking in Maggyville and Cherokee. Asheville 20 min away also. No complaints. Thank you Team for allowing us to stay!

Great Place, one small safety issue for kids
The only reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a couple of storage areas that aren't secured well. We had 6 children there under 10, including 3 toddlers, and in both the kids room and in the common area upstairs there are small doors that lead to unfinished storage areas. Neither of these doors are secured and can be easily opened by toddlers. Our children did not do so, as we blocked the doors and told them not to, but it was very concerning especially since the unfinished areas dont have flooring everywhere so you could easily fall through the floor there if you're not aware, like any child would be. A simple bolt and lock on these doors would solve the problem. The only other thing I would add is that the upstairs TV did not have a remote nor did the Wii remote work. Otherwise we love the house and we would definitely stay again provided these issues are addressed. Thanks!

Great location and house had everything with good access to lake and other nearby venues.
Working with Turnkey Rental was great. Updates and communication was good and ongoing. They checked with us before, during and after the stay. House is well equipped. The housekeeping was great. Internet and TV options were good. The neighborhood is great and friendly. The eagles next was active so we got to see the young bald eagle. The location is close to so many things to do in the area yet quick access or 25-30 minutes to drive I40 for going into Asheville. Walks around the lake are so fun for kids. Would stay here again. Eat at the Blue Rooster that is around the corner. Visit downtown Waynesville, Sylva and Dillsboro. Just a great area.

Open large common area (one big kitchen/dinning/living room) with overlook view (took good sunrise and sunset pictures), clean & nicely decorated, bathrooms seem upscale; walking distance to lake, beautiful walkway around lake; house management (turnkey) gave detail & easy to understand instructions; kitchen is pretty well equipped considering it is a rental

Beautiful place
The place was wonderful!!!! Nice location enough for walking to the lake. We went in a bad timing because of the Corona virus and stayed in a lot since I had 3 kids and 4 grandparents. I just wish they had regular cable instead of stream tv. The spectrum channels was limited and kids got a little bored with the options but otherwise place and staff was wonderful...all clean place and bathroom towels. Will stay again.

Top notch experience
From booking to payment, from check in to check out, this was an excellent experience. The house was beautiful and clean. The process was smooth and friendly. If I had ANY complaint it would be the internet was unreliable which, with five kids, could be a bit of a problem. The area was lovely with great access to Maggie Valley, Cherokee and Bryson City. It was overall a great experience.

Junaluska Reunion
What a great time at this home - we particularly appreciated the ease of checkin/checkout, the spacious and airy rooms and common areas, and air conditioning, which wasn’t standard in the area but well appreciated! The upstairs loft with two bedrooms was a great “kids only” space, and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and dining ware. A short walk to the lake and activities, and on a very quiet road, made this home ideal for a family reunion.

Perfect for our group!
The process of renting this home has been fantastic from the beginning. The house met our needs perfectly! The kitchen was well stocked. The space in the house was exactly what we needed. The man across the road was so friendly and showed us where the eagles had a nest. The only problem for us was, the twin bed in the bunk bed room was at an angel, so maybe it should be looked at. If we ever come back to Lake Junaluska we hope the house will be available for us.
