Rustic Pocono Mountain Chalet

If you enjoy mountains, private beaches, ski slopes and lakeside adventures while still enjoying all the comforts of home; “The Cozy Cub” will quickly become your favorite home away! This rustic chalet has 2 full bedrooms, one full bathroom and plenty of extra sleeping space in the partially enclosed loft. Cozy up to the fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa, or spend some time outside on the front or rear deck. Located just 5 minutes from Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski areas, 10 minutes from the Pocono Raceway, and only a few minutes walk to the lake. You’ll never need to leave the lake where cozy breakfast spots are right around the corner as are fine dining or pub fare with a generous side of lake view! Or cook up your own meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Your private escape is waiting!

Perfect get away
This was the perfect cabin get away. We all loved our stay. We saw a deer family and a bear! The beds were comfy and the cabin made me with I never had to go home! Will definitely be going back! Ty for a great stay!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was warm, cozy and in a wonderful neighborhood. The location was very close to ski resorts, restaurants, and convenience stores for quick shopping trips. We had great communication with the owner and cannot wait to return!!

Nice Cabin for a Weekend Getaway
We rented the place for a family weekend, and we had a good time. The place is comfortable and nicely decorated. The neighborhood is charming. We enjoyed swimming in the lake nearby, roasting s'mores outside, and watching the deer through the window from the breakfast table.

Great July 4th at Lake Harmony!
The Cozy Cub is a wonderfully complete and very charming cabin at Lake Harmony. I was so happy that we were a few 'blocks' up from the main drag along the lake because it was very peaceful and quiet during our stay. Each morning I was able to enjoy coffee on the front or back porch. We were close enough to local restaurants if we wanted to go out or we could have dinner at the cabin. It was so relaxing and lovely

Great Cabin stay!
Host was very easy to get in touch with and made the check in and check out instructions very clear and very easy. The cabin slept more of us than we were anticipating, and we all fit in the cabin with room to spare! Lots of parking which was a huge plus for our occasion. My only complaint is the fridge had to wiped down pretty significantly prior to use and the cabin is pretty dusty. But overall, would highly recommend!

Weekend up the mountains
My family had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! Very charming log cabin feel, my kids loved the A-frame loft bedroom. Super clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable too. Excellent location as well, we were close to the restaurants and activities in the area. Also, there was not a huge list of chores to do upon check out as some places have you do these days. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Girls Getaway
This was the perfect place for our first girls getaway weekend! We loved the cozy beds, fire pit area, and front porch. We spent the majority of our time at the cabin, relaxing and talking. We took 2 walks and saw lots of mama deer and their fawn, and we also were offered a boat ride around Lake Harmony by a wonderful couple on our last night. We will definitely be back to enjoy the local restaurants and fun on the lake. Thank you for offering such a wonderful place for us to stay!

Great Getaway
The home was as described. We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed hiking in the surrounding state parks. At night we sat around the fire pit and relaxed. Our kids really enjoyed the upstairs loft bedroom. There was tons of wildlife. There were deer walking around the property and we even saw a black bear the one night! We would definitely consider booking again.

The Great Escape
4 generations in pursuit of a family vacation tradition! We found it! This cozy and comfortable cabin was just far away enough to enjoy peaceful moments with Momma deer and her fawn, sat around the fire ring at night and told stories and laughed. Close enough to walk to a sweet beach that grandpa could play with his granddaughter in the water. A short distance away had a great dinner with a view and listening to live music! What a great place!
We booked as a half way stop to meet a rescue dog. Having never heard of Lake Harmony, I wasn't sure what to expect. I needed a place that would accept my dog and also be a great getaway for my family. My only regret is that we had to travel so much during our stay. The house was located in a great walking neighborhood, the cottage/cabin was clean and charming. The beds were clean and comfy and the host, Dezaray is exceptional. She welcomed us ALL even our newest member. I would love to try to give the beach passes a try next time!

Didn't want to leave!
What a terrific home! As soon as we walked through the door we knew this was the place for us. It's been a tough couple of years and we needed a place to decompress and find some peace and clarity. Cozy cub delivered on all accounts. It rained the 3 days we were there, but it didn't matter. Our dogs had a blast too. There were deer visiting every day, which was a treat. Dez is our new best friend! Can't wait until hubby gets more vacation time so we can book again.🐻
