Great Property with Lakeview/Lake Access - Steam Room, Sauna

This recently renovated modern home is located in the heart of the Poconos in Lake Harmony. With great lake views, lake access and proximity to fantastic attractions and facilities, this home is perfect for the quiet romantic get-away weekend OR the week-long adventurous family vacation.


The home is centrally located in Lake Harmony within walking distance to great shopping, attractions, restaurants and night life including Nick’s Lake House, Louie’s Prime, Piggy’s, Terra Cottage, Shenanigan’s, and Split Rock Lodge. For skiers, the home is situated between 2 popular ski areas (Big Boulder (1/2 mile) and Jack Frost (4 miles) and within 30 minutes of Camelback, Shawnee, and SNO mountain. For golfers, the Split Rock, Moutain Laurel, and Jack Frost National Golf Course are located within minutes. Hikers and bikers can enjoy the trails and beauty of nearby Hikory Run State Park and historic and scenic Jim Thorpe is located within 26 miles down the road for you to enjoy the quaint shops and, dining establishments. And of couse, water activities are available accross the street with lake acces to swimming, fishing, and boating.


This is a year round rental with great attractions for every season.

Summer: The lake access location not only creates a scenic view any time of the day, but direct access to the lake allows for swimming, fishing, boating or just relaxing on the lakefront. And for NASCAR fans, Pocono raceway is only 5 miles away.

Winter: In addition to the proximity to Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski areas for skiing, snowboarding and tubing, lake access also allows for fun activities on the frozen lake like ice skating, cross country skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling.

Fall: Fall foliage creates a brilliant show of color in the Pocono mountains. This is a great time of year for hiking and mountain biking.

Spring: This is a great time to take in some early season golf. As ski season winds down, the golf courses open for business. There are many courses to chose from in addition to the 3 championship golf courses located within a couple of minutes away, and all at great rates! And don't forget the Water Park at Split Rock!

My Husbands 50th birthday
I love the Lake Harmony area and came across this house which was a perfect for my husbands birthday. This four bedroom house was so beautiful inside and had so much space for my family of 8. I would definitely have a family gathering here again. This trip was so worth it.

This house is in a prime location with a beautiful view of the lake. Access to the lake was just across the street and easy to get to and enjoy. The steam room and sauna were a terrific added bonus!

Amazing Lakehouse !
This property is even more beautiful and spacious in person than the pics. Location is perfect if heading there to snowboard /ski/tube as Big Boulder is literally a few minutes away. Several bars /restaurants within a minute drive. I imagine it is just as wonderful in the summer with plenty to do nearby. The owner was helpful with any questions !

Simply put, my company and I had a perfect stay. It's a really nice house in a great location. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. The neighbors were friendly. The views from the deck are amazing and I'd love to come back someday.

Moms and teens get away
We loved our winter long weekend at Lake Harmony! The house was perfect for our group, long time mom friends and our teens. Kitchen was well equipped for meal making, table was perfect for games. We watched the superbowl on the comfy couch and brought the gaming chairs down so we all fit. The steam room and sauna were a luxury for after skiing. We all looked at the photo album of all the additions and changes to the home, thank you for sharing it with us, we hope to be back!

Incredible!
Gary and Laurie were amazing to deal with and very friendly and available when/if needed. Having the kayaks, canoes, boats and grill all on premises was great. Little too hot to use the sauna and steam room, but we thought about it! Will definitely be returning again shortly!

House was perfect for our family's needs. Location was amazing for us. We love Piggys & Shenanigans which were in walking distance if weather was warmer. View to the lake was beautiful. Loved watching people skate & play hockey. Super convenient for skiing & tubing. House was well equipped. Heat worked wonderfully & loved the central fireplace. The upstairs master bedroom was very cozy & cute.

Amazing!
We had an amazing time! We have stayed at this house 8 years ago and we were talking about a reunion trip. We were so happy to see this house was still available to rent and when we arrived it was nothing short of exciting! Everything was the same as it was and it felt like a second home. Laurie is amazing to communicate with and super accommodating. We will definitely be booking again for a couple months, 3 days wasn’t enough time. Thanks again!

WONDERFUL HOME FOR A GETAWAY
Our family stayed here for a special birthday, including 5 children under 8. The home is beautiful and extremely clean. The kids enjoyed the paddleboat rides with their parents and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit in the backyard. Laurie and Gary made themselves readily available for any questions. They were very easy to work with and we had a family problem that was treated with ease, thanks to them. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Laurie and Gary!

Long weekend getaway for group of adults
We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO rental. The location was great and the property was well-maintained with good amenities. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans/utensils for all of our cooking needs. However, it's important to note that guests need to bring their own sheets, towels, and even hand towels for the bathrooms/kitchen. Thankfully, Laurie sent us a "before your check-in" message that said this which gave us enough time to secure the correct sheets for each bed. Also, the top bunk is extremely close to the ceiling and might not be very comfortable for a full-sized adult, so keep in mind when assigning rooms. The location was perfectly situated to walk across the street to the lake or down the street to restaurants. Despite these minor points, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Even better than expected!!
This home is beautiful and so comfortable! A group of my friends (mostly couples) came to Lake Harmony for a weekend getaway and we had the best time. Half of the group went skiing and the other half spent the day watching sports and playing games. The beds are comfortable (I'm very picky and no issues here!). The fire places are easy to use and warm up the cabin so quickly--a nice touch for the winter months. We were able to cook food and make drinks for the group of 10 all weekend with all of the available cooking tools/pots/pans/glasses/etc. I highly recommend this home--I expected a nice home, but we were blown away by all the details. It was even decorated for the holidays! The owners were very responsive to my emails and provided a list of extra info a week prior to our stay. Will definitely rent again the next time we stay in Lake Harmony!

Nice location and house. Cleanliness was an issue.
The house is nice and location great;however, the kitchen was very dirty and it took us 2 hours to scrub appliances and counter before preparing out meals. The leather sofa smelled horrible and we took another hour trying to clean it and what came off of it was just disgusting. There were tissues and left over clothing behind the night tables in one bedroom and there was a horrible stain on one of the beds. Could not get the DVD to work and the toilet handle in main floor of house was broken. You had to lift the tank lid and pull the chain to flush the toilet. Water pressure was in and out for showers and washer machine. Cigarette buts were on the yard when we got here as well. If there is a cleaning service that comes in after each tenant their services are not worth the cost at all. Appreciated the location and availability of owner for questions but this unit really needs an overhaul with cleaning. If you do stay at this home you may want to bring along some salt for driveway and walkways as they ice up and it can be very dangerous. The walkway was not shoveled and we could not find a shovel to clear it.
