Lake Cabin #9 - Great Deck to Enjoy the Evenings
2 Bedroom/1 Bathroom; Sleeps 4 - Great Location Right on the Trails.
This cabin is open and bright with vaulted ceilings and large windows. It has two bedrooms....each with a queen sized bed with new mattresses, full kitchen and large bathroom. It has a wonderful deck to enjoy and relax on on those great summer evenings. This cabin sits on the Alpine Loop so you can ride directly from the cabin on your 4-wheelers.....no need to trailer. Only a short walk down to the lake where you can fish or just watch for the wildlife that frequents the area. There is also a gas grill and fire pit to enjoy your evenings after a full day in the mountains.
This cabin does sit near the water treatment plant but it is surrounded by landscaping and it does give you some privacy from the road. There is plenty of parking behind the cabin for your trailers and toys. This cabin is part of a group of small cabins that were built in the 1940's so bring your family and friends! If you need more space we have many other cabins in the area....come and make memories with us!

We loved our stay and would deferent again. The cabin was perfect for our week stay in Lake City and had everything we needed. A great location for access to trails and the lake. The whole family loved it!
Right by the lake. Beautiful walk or drive around the lake. Private yard. Can drive right from the cabin onto trails. Close to Lake City. Fully stocked kitchen. Easy check-in and check- out process. Would stay again.

Property purposely did not inform us that the cabin was within 30 feet of 10 septic tanks facilitating the cabins. The smell from the tanks was gross. In addition, property was advertised to have a loft but when we arrived there was a sign in the cabin stating, "Do not use the loft." This is false advertising. The stove was not fully functional; large burner was shot and the timer for the oven was not operational causing food to burn.
Very nice little cabin, only reasons for 4 stars is the fact that cabin 9 is right behind the wastewater treatment plant. And until we found its entrance hole by the wall heater , we had a chipmunk living with us at night, and he liked to party! Other than that we had an awesome time.
The place was as advertised. Very rustic but in a good way. It’s a bit off of the main drag so it takes approx 15-20 minutes to get into town. Not bad at all if that’s what you are looking for.
Good cabin for 3 or 4 people. Good deck for grilling out.
Thank you Tannah for helping us with this cabin. There could have been some more dish towels in kitchen. Other than that, there was plenty of everything. Thank you!
We wanted a location where we could take our side by sides and ride the trails without trailering them to a staging area. This cabin was perfect for that. We spent all day out on the trails then could even ride our side by sides into town to eat. It was perfect for what we wanted. We even got to enjoy the neighborhood bear that made his/her rounds at night. Very enjoyable stay. We will be back next year.
The cabin was nice and comfortable. It’s not a 5 star resort so don’t expect that, but it served us very well and was stocked well with the necessary items. It is located 15 feet from the water treatment plant and the smell was more overpowering than some of the previous reviews would have you believe but we survived it. I know the area has experienced an unusually warm summer and it was much hotter outside than we expected so that might have played a role in the elevated level of fumes. The yard was good sized and the fire pit was great! I will say it’s worth noting the drive way is small and a tight circle. We managed to figure out a way to park the truck and trailer but depending on the size of your rig it could be an issue for some and should be considered. Overall a comfortable stay and great proximity to the lake, town and trails!
Love staying in all the cabins at the lake . This on has everything you need for a lovely adventure. I walked my little dog to the lake every day..

Great stay. Great place. Loved it. Have stayed there multiple times. Loved every time.
Cabin # 9 could on occasion with the right wind direction could smell the waste water treatment facility (directly next door). But, would stay there again. Loved the location, hospitality, and generosity of everyone involved very pleasing.
