"Wonderful cabin, with log structure charm and coziness. Beautiful lakefront with chairs to sit and watch the sunrise, and the mist rising off the surface of the lake. Beautiful time of year to be there with autumn colors emerging. Very clean rooms and facilities. Pontoon boat was available but we didn't use it. Wished we could have stayed longer. Hope to return some day. "

"Very nice Florida room was an added benefit for snowy gear . Would of liked a coffee maker that was a full pot, but very nice that kireig coffe was made available. Close to all activities . Very comfortable furniture. "

"My husband and I wanted to have a weekend away for ice fishing. Cabin is in a great location close to the lake. Beds are very comfortable and there's a nice wood stove (gas) to keep the cabin warm. We weren't able to fish on Higgins due to ice not as thick as we'd hoped but we were able to fish on Houghton Lake. Fish we caught too small to keep. We had lunch/dinner at the Cut River Grille at Higgins Lake and the Beechwood Cafe in Roscommon. Highly recommend! Also went to Fred's in...

"Had a great time. Plenty of things for the kids to do, they especially enjoyed the trampoline and basketball hoop. We all enjoyed the local attractions such as putt putt and the Roscommon zoo. Would recommend this place to other families around 10 people."

"We had an amazing time staying at the property and can’t wait to return!! The property is beautiful, and gives off a relaxing New England feel. The owners have all the best of the things you always forget! There was chalk, toys, seasoning, tea, cold water bottles and mini chocolate (which won the toddler over instantly!!) They equipped the place with s’mores supplies to go with the fire pit. We relaxed instantly and loved every minute of our visit. "

"This rental is exactly what we wanted! The beach space was perfect for my family to hang out and play. The house was very clean, spacious, and up to date. I would have loved to have some more information on checkout processes such as with the blankets, sheets, garbage, etc. Overall, it was a great stay and we would love to return!"
