Two-bedroom waterfront bungalow with superior views looking down the lake towards the sunken forest. A private site with bushland on one side.
Queen bed in one room and a bunk bed (double plus single in the other bedroom). Fully airconditioned bungalow with a fully equipped kitchen including a two-door fridge/freezer combo. Lounge room includes TV/DVD. Internet is available to access wifi.
Extra large verandah (3 ceiling fans) with BBQ facilities. Canoes and kayaks are available for you to explore the lake. Children and adult life vests are on site.
Please note that Lake Bennett is a quiet resort, and large parties and excessive noise are against Body Corporate policy. There is also a no-dog policy issued by the body corporate.
Please note that there is a minimum of 2 nights for bookings.
What to Do
Relax, sunbathe, swim, fish, bushwalk or use the canoes and kayaks to explore all the Lake has to offer, including an exciting display of bird life and water lilies.
The Lake House is also an excellent base for exploring the amazing surrounds, such as Kakadu National Park, Litchfield and Nitmiluk National Parks, Manton Dam, Adelaide River War Cemetery, Adelaide River Railway Station Bachelor.
What not to do.
Lake Bennett is a place to re-energise and relax with family and friends. It is not suitable for hosting a large party. Your group will be asked to pack up and leave immediately (mid-event) if there is a large gathering or party at the Lake House. There are much more suitable places that support large parties and events.
What to Bring
The Lake House is fully equipped with linen (beds made up) and has a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, large fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, and a Nespresso coffee machine. All you need to bring is your food, drinks, bottled water, and towels.
Liability Waiver:
The $20 Hire cost of life jackets, canoes and kayaks is included in the Bungalow rental costs
1. Life jackets are provided and are to be always worn whilst on the canoes and kayaks. Parents and/or Guardians will be fully responsible for any persons under 18 years of age.
2. The hirer will take full responsibility for the equipment and must pay for any damage or loss to the equipment.
3. The hirer will also take full responsibility for themselves and anyone else and agree to accept the associated risks.
Liability Waiver:
You understand that swimming and the use of kayaks are at your own risk, and you accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming and the use of the kayaks. You understand there are potential dangers that swimming and the use of kayaks may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming or using the kayaks if a person has health risks, or if a person swims or uses the kayaks while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant.
You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party.
