If there's snow, there's plenty of sledding in the backyard and front drive. Numerous sleds are provided, some with steering wheels and breaks! Please note: the driveway is steep and in winter storm conditions chains and/or 4WD may be needed if the snow turns to ice. If it snows more than 4" - ALL vehicles must be moved out of the driveway temporarily to allow for it to be plowed. Otherwise, you may need to shovel your way out.
I just recently changed the property damage requirement to a $750.00 refundable security deposit instead of VRBO's $59. non-refundable insurance fee. That saves you $59. on a booking. A hold for the refundable deposit is placed on your Credit card but is not charged unless damage occurs. If damage occurs please inform me. So for instance, the next guest doesn't sit on a broken chair or arrive to find a broken blender that I could have had replaced. If you prefer to pay the $59. I can arrange the Protection plan through VRBO.
This is our home, so we take great pride and joy in having it well maintained and clean for all of our guests. We want you to have an enjoyable time, just like we do. To us, it's close to the city, but we feel like it is in another world.
