Nice place just not clean thoroughly
Really nice cabin my family and I enjoyed it. It had most of essentials, No AC however, the fans work great. My only issue was the place was not thoroughly clean. Tables outside patio not cleans grill not clean (looks like it haven’t for months) i had to buy a grill and i left it there for other renters and it didn’t fit in my truck. Under the couches in the game room not clean just makes me wonder what else wasn’t thoroughly clean! Overall juce experience.

Very nice place
We had a great stay at this property. The game room was enormously fun for our group (mix of tweens, teens and adults), and the location had enough room for teens and adults to each find their own space. The kitchen was good too; there is a mini heater under the kitchen sink which was something special when it's like 0 degrees out! Gas fireplace was pleasant too. Overall there was just a pleasant vibe here, which you don't always get. Highly recommend.

Great house for a family getaway!
This house was perfect for what we were looking for. The community is full of amenities and close by lakes are only a few min drive away. The only thing we didn't realize is the house doesn't have A/C, but the cooler nights and fans in every room helped that. Overall, a great experience!

Family weekend
We had a great time. The house was perfect for 6 of us. We had plenty of space. The game room in the basement was a lot of fun. The kitchen was well equipped. The only drawback was that the ski slope needed reservations a week in advance we didn’t know about and the ice skating rink was closed. All due to Covid but we didn’t know Besides that we loved the home. Gave us the weekend away we needed

Great community to stay in!!
I’ll start with the only negative of the trip - Place wasn’t ready when we arrived since the previous people left the place a mess and the cleaning lady told me they needed an extra hour because “everything is sticky”. But we were able to hit the pool with the kids while we waited. Overall place was fairly clean when we got in. BBQ and fire pit on the large deck were great!! Pool table in basement was a fun after dinner activity. 2 beaches were a little crowded but overall nice to relax at. 2 pools were clean and a lot of fun. Staffed by friendly life guards. Basketball and tennis courts. Boat rentals for a fee. And huge Lake Wallenpaupack is a shirt drive away where we rented a pontoon boat for a day. Property manager was great and answered questions via email or text almost instantly. Overall a great trip and would definitely stay again!!

The property was very nice! Perfect for a few friends to stay, lots of games if you have a young family it would be ideal. It was about an hour drive to elk mountain but the property was worth the drive for our group!

Great Getaway
Everything was smooth for the most part. The only thing is that wasn’t pleasant was that this was a huge community so at times it was confusing on which gates to use and where to go. I would say to make things easier have clear and direct maps for guests to navigate easily. The cabin was perfect. It was spacious. It was cozy and it was perfect for the time we spent there. I would definitely book it again!

Beautiful modern cabin has everything you need
My family had a wonderful time at the cabin this past weekend. The location was a perfect home base for us to explore the area. The cabin is super clean with a great open feel and has everything you need without being the slightest bit cluttered. My kids loved relaxing in the loft area and taking in the forest views from all the windows, and the adults in our party loved playing pool in the basement after the kids went to bed. Ceiling fans in every room kept us comfortable all day, and the screened windows allowed us to enjoy the night air without any fear of bugs. In short, it’s a great home-away-from-home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I hope we can return one day!

Awesome Country Cabin
My wife wanted to spend her birthday away in a cabin with all of her family. This place was amazing. It had everything you could ask for. We were blown away by how clean the place was and all that it provided. The only things we needed were us and whatever we wanted to eat. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck, shooting pool, having the opportunity to "Netflix and chill" and so much more. Scranton was a short drive away and we enjoyed going there. The next time we come, we look forward to enjoying some of the many amenities The Hideout has to offer. I would definitely recommend this place and we plan on going back. Jose was quick to respond by email or text for any questions we had. Thanks for making my wife's birthday weekend so special.

Beautiful, well maintained property
I came here for my birthday and was more than happy to have picked this location. Everything was very clean, in and outside of the house. The surrounding community was also very peaceful and relaxing. Communication with the owners was very smooth and quick and they were very polite. Would highly recommend coming here!

it was such a beautiful home in a nice private neighborhood surrounded by nature and next to a big lake! the tv setup was so easy to use, i especially enjoyed the pool table and there was a bathtub with jets! i really enjoyed my stay!

Great time and beautiful home
We went for 4 days and it was a great experience. Owner reached out a few days before we went and provided a very cute document with information about the house, amenities and a map to get around the community. It is absolutely beautiful! We walked to a nearby lake which was very nice and liked that the community was gated which made us feel safe. There are plenty of things to do for people of all ages. The host was very responsive and provided suggestions to eat, do activities and go shopping. Overall it was great and will definitely go back!
