Fall Girl's Trip
The home was well maintained in a very quiet area. We were able to have a fire in the evening and enjoyed the new Adirondack chairs. For as woodsy as the location is, it is also close to many restaurants and the lake. Great home, great location. And the owners were very responsive when we needed anything!

Nice private cabin
The property is beautiful and we had a great time. Nice and secluded. The property needs a deep clean, no trash was left out but everything was dusty like it had never been touched. Also count the air hockey out, table is warped and barely blows air so is unplayable and should not be show in property photos

Peaceful time away with Friends
We took a weekend away as all adults with no kids. We were looking for a property that not only would fit all of us but would be comfortable for us to hang out and relax, and this property fit the bill perfectly. We were able to enjoy the lake nearby, as well as the local restaurants, while still also being able to relax in the evenings around the fire. The owners were GREAT with communication before, during, and after our stay. We had a very minor issue of a window being stuck open prior to our arrival that was communicated with no issues. Everything in the home looks and functions as it is posted in the listing. The area is beautiful. There is nothing like sitting on the deck in the morning with your coffee while the fall leaves drift to the ground around you!

Perfect getaway
My family and I had an amazing experience. It was just great to get away from our hectic day to day schedules. This is a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy time with your loved ones. Sandra was an absolute pleasure to speak to. She took the time out to tell me about the area and the different attractions nearby. She was great with communication and was very welcoming.

It was a great stay. Time away from the city is what my husband and I needed and it’s exactly what we got while staying at the house . We are looking forward to the warmer weather and will be making contact with property owners in regards to booking a summer vacation here .

My friends and I stayed for New Years Eve, there were 7 of us and the house fit us perfectly. The house is super clean and comfortable! Thomas was such a great host, he responded quickly to any questions I may have had. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

House was clean, everything was as described. Beds were very comfortable, which was really appreciated. Host was super responsive. It would’ve been nice if there were some camping chairs available, but we were told ahead of time to bring our own (we just didn’t have the space to pack them). Would definitely return!

A quiet week away.
Our family of five came here for work in the area and a fun time to spend with our kids. We loved the area and the cabin. It had a nice homie vibe to it and the kids found it cozy too. We watched movies and play board games to pass the time and love how much wildlife we saw there too. Just make sure to have 4 wheel drive if you expect any snow because the entrance road was steep and icy. No fault of the owners, but might seeing that in a review might have made me bring a different vehicle. Will stay here again if we are in the area!

Awesome owners , easy , prompt and very helpful when needed. The house is amazing . We originally booked for a friends getaway but ended up taking our 2 young kids along.They were entertained and did not want to leave. The house was very kids friendly. Everything was great. Very roomy and spacious . Would definitely return again.

The property was extremely well furnished, and the communication with the owners seamless. Couple of little things missed by cleaning service, and boy golly does gps not like the neighborhood but we sure did. 9.67/10, long lighter for campfire would have been clutch.

Highly recommend it!
I can’t say enough about the whole process from booking to check out. Property manager was available (although we didn’t really have to touch base with her too much during our stay because everything was just perfect. The property itself was beautiful. It was spacious, clean, it had all things you could need. It was very clean, and it felt like home. We were there for Christmas weekend, and it was even decorated appropriately for the holiday. I highly recommend this property. It was great in the winter, and I can only imagine it would be even better during the summer and fall. The scenery is beautiful. We are looking to book this property again for next year.

Family Vacation
The rooms were spacious and the kitchen had newer appliances which was very nice since our family likes to cook. We had plenty of room. The outside deck was spacious as well, with a gas grill and large outdoor table and seating. There was plenty to do that kept the kids happy - Costa's Fun Park, Claws-n-Paws, swimming at the public beach on Lake Wallenpaupack, plenty of hiking trails. Our family decided to vacation at the Poconos instead of the beach and we are glad we did. Our hosts were very receptive to all inquiries and answered questions promptly. Try it out....you'll be glad you did.

Communication with owner was excellent from the start. Found property to be a little messy (every room had some sort of object left behind from previous tenant that was not picked up). Gave feedback to owner and he was receptive. Was going to communicate to cleaning service for future stays. Home has everything we needed and was in a good location for lake access.

Nice and clean, neat and orderly which we appreciated, however lacked some basics.
Disappointed that there was no seating at all in basement TV area. Good thing we brought beach chairs to use. Insufficient seating in main family room also. Lighting throughout house very poor. Due to that there was no where to sit and read. No bedside lighting in any bedrooms. No end table lighting in family room. Even ceiling lighting was very dull and made even game playing difficult. No mirrors in bedrooms. Fridge ice maker was not working and we were not made aware beforehand. Nearby lake beach is extremely small and not inviting at all. No water activities such as renting canoes or kayaks are available at nearby lake. Had to drive 14 miles to nearest rental place on main part of lake for kids to rent kayaks. Nearby club with tennis and pool is nice but we were there for lake activities. Owner very nice but property needs some comforts added and area does not really provide local lake activities. Not much to do there. We will not be going to poconos again.
