West Texas is really cool. I would spend more time in Big Bend and more time at Terlingua Ghost Town. I would also take advantage of the outdoor activities like horse back riding, atv's, rafting/SUPs etc.

"We have stayed here twice now. We always go hiking in January. We love the outdoor area and my husband loves the smoker. He has smoked a brisket the past two years and loves the view. Lots of room for our group."

"We loved staying in the house. We were traveling with another family and our kids loved running around and exploring the area. House has pretty much everything you need and there's a general store really close. State park is practically next door and worth exploring. Big Bend NP is not too far either. ..."

Lajitas is the ultimate isolated paradise, if you're passionate about golf, the outdoors and the Big Bend Scenery. The West Texas historical touches add so much authenticity as well, that you feel like you're truly experiencing a blast to the past.
