We took advantage of the porch seating out back including the seating around the fire pit under the stars, I love that they are dog friendly lodging and cigar & bourbon friendly outside. We are planning a return in two years or sooner sans pups so we can really explore Big Bend National Park. "

"This house has all the amenities of home while being off the grid. Everything was great. The WiFi, water, electricity all were great. House was easy to find just make sure you put the address or coordinates in before you lose cell signal. Area is secluded and very quiet. It was the quietest place we had ever been. You literally could not hear anything outside. It was really cool. House isn’t far from Terlingua and big bend. Only 20-30 mins maybe. I would come back and stay there again. "

"Excellent location - convenient to Big Bend & Terlingua. Access via a nursery and "retired vehicle" storage lot - however very quiet. Very comfortable beds, lots of towels, large covered patio for enjoying evenings. Hosts were responsive to questions and provided for easy checkin/checkout process."

"We needed a 3 bed 2 bath home for our group of 4 adults and one child over spring break. Rancho Mula Oso fit the bill. Beds are comfortable and the house is well equipped with plenty of bath linens and dishes in a full kitchen. The outside area out back is perfect for enjoying the gorgeous night skies. We really enjoy staying in this area."

"Perfect accommodations for non-campers. Well stocked kitchen…we cooked all our meals. Very quiet, very dark sky. The house was VERY clean!!!! We had plenty of space to spread out, organize our hiking gear and relax at the end of the days. Convenient to the Park and trails."
