A great stay!
The location and amenities were great with a lot of privacy and rural feel but close to downtown Lagos for restaurants and shopping. Easy travel to many southern sites, beaches and local towns. We highly recommend for two couples or family.

The house wasn’t exactly as advertised, it was better! One bedroom had a king size bed (listing said queen) and the other had twin beds that connected to make another king. House was very nice and comfortable and just a very short drive to the Lagos waterfront. We are definitely staying here again when we come back!

Schönes Haus ! Gelungener Urlaub!

Prachtig huis en tuin
Het huisje waarin we verbleven (Casa Paula 1) was fantastisch, vooral de mooie afgesloten tuin met veel gezellige hoekjes en kantjes. Het ruime zwembad en de buitenkeuken met barbecue en pizzaoven maakten het helemaal af. Binnen was de woning gezellig ingericht en was alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden. De twee badkamers waren een extra troef.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Das Haus liegt etwas abseits im Hinterland von Lagos, was ja doch überhaupt kein Problem ist, wenn man ein Auto hat. Es liegt auf einem sehr schönen Grundstück, hat einen schönen Pool und einen wirklich toll gepflegten Garten. Zur Außenanlage gehören zudem ein Grill mit kleiner Außenküche(hier gibt es warmes Wasser). Die Gartenmöbel sind von hoher Qualität und die Liegen ausgesprochen bequem. Das Innere des Hauses ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die wirklich sehr komfortablen Betten. Der Empfang und Check in mit Dana war freundlich und lief reibungslos ab. Wir mussten gleich nach dem Ankommen feststellen, dass der TV und die Geschirrspülmaschine kaputt waren. Es war jedoch absolut überhaupt kein Problem, da beide Geräte sofort ausgetauscht wurden. Das Haus wird dreimal die Woche von der wirklich sehr gründlichen und lieben Nadja gereinigt. Hierzu gehört zum Beispiel auch, dass die Tabs für den Geschirrspüler nachgefüllt werden und auch Flüssigwaschmittel ist vorhanden. Diesen Service hatten wir noch in keinem Haus! Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer Edouardo war angenehm und stets freundlich. Wir können diese Anlage, die aus drei Häusern besteht, unbeschränkt weiter empfehlen und sollten wir wieder in die Gegend von Lagos kommen, werden wir bestimmt wieder hier wohnen.

Sehr schönes Haus
Die Übergabe war super. Das Haus und der Garten sind sehr schön alles da was man braucht zum kochen und grillen. Besonders sind die wirklich komfort Betten. Normal haben wir hier immer Probleme hier war alles super.

Excellent holiday experience
Ideal property for a nice relaxing holiday, the villa is set in it's own beautiful private garden, good size pool and not too far from Lagos (1.7kms). We walked into town a few evenings and got a taxi back which cost about 6 euros. We will definitely stay here again.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à nous reposer dans cette maison confortable et agréable à vivre. Nous y avons apprécié le calme à proximité de la ville de Lagos, accessible en quelques minutes en voiture. Le cadre extérieur avec terrasse, barbecue, petit salon et piscine nous a permis de passer de bons moments à profiter du beau temps. Les échanges par mail avec le propriétaire, Eduardo, pour la réservation et les détails pratiques ont été très faciles et les informations communiquées très utiles. Absolute Spitzenklasse!
Wir (2 Paare in den 20ern) haben 12 Tage in der Casa Paula verbracht. Super eingerichtet und ausgestattet, jedes Zimmer mit separatem Bad. Tolle Lage, man ist innerhalb von 5 Autominuten im Supermarkt (Empfehlung: Pingo Doce!), am Hafen (Start der Fußgängerzone) und der Autobahnauffahrt. Ohne Mietwagen geht nichts; um nur am Pool zu liegen ist die Algarve aber ohnehin zu schön. Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites und aufmerksames Personal. Alles super sauber. Absolute Empfehlung.

Presque parfait!
Trois semaines sous le soleil de l'Algarve, entre septembre et octobre 2017. Un séjour presque idyllique. A cinq minutes en voiture de Lagos, la Casa Paula 3 est très accueillante, spacieuse et confortable. Les gens en charge de l'entretien sont très gentils et efficaces. Et les propriétaires à l'écoute de nos remarques. Alors pourquoi "presque"? Parce que la relative proximité de la déchetterie entraine certains jours des nuisances sonores et olfactives, heureusement très rares. Mais il faut le signaler. En outre, il faut souhaiter que les occupants de Casa Paula 2 se comportent en personnes respectueuses de leur voisinage. Et ce ne fut pas toujours le cas pour nous (musique à fond...). Ces deux remarques étant faites, nous recommandons quand même fortement Casa Paula 3, dont nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir.

Amazing stay at the most beautiful villa!
The villa was very secluded and perfect for a relaxing break, with a short walk into the town of Lagos. The outside area and the pool was beautiful with a lovely bar and plenty of seating areas. The villa itself had everything you could want and was beautifully kept with air conditioning in each room. I would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing break with wonderful surroundings and a lovely pool.

Spacious, clean and well laid out villa
We stayed for 4 days at Casa Paula 3 and loved it. The area was well laid out with plenty of deck chairs and a lovely swimming pool which is well designed with a sloping bottom to provide good depth but with a short incline at the deep end to allow standing up there. Cool. There was even a hammock in the outdoor area which was well lit and the BBQ area has a sink and running water..ace. The kitchen area was well provided for with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and even a toaster! The bedrooms were comfortable with good air-con and the bathroom had a great shower/bath combo. Overall a great experience only let down by the dodgy WiFi. We modern travelers (and their children) need the Internet like we need food! Portugal is probably not well connected so maybe I am unjustly judging Eduardo's connection, and we were after all on holiday :-), but staying connected is now a part of modern life and it's lack is notable. That said, I can't think of a more comfortable way to spend the time away and Eduardo made us very welcome on our arrival. Seriously recommended for a pleasant stay.

Muito agradável/heel aangenaam
Uma casa muito agradável com tudo o que é necessário. Muito calmo e, contudo, muito perto do centro de Lagos. Adoramos a piscina, o churrasco e a proximidade da natureza. As camas são boas e a casa estava muito limpa. Een heel aangenaam huis met alles wat nodig is. Heel rustig en toch heel dichtbij het centrum van Lagos. Wij vonden het zwembad, de barbecue en de nabijheid van de natuur geweldig. Goede bedden en het huis was heel schoon.

Excellentes vacances
Excellentes vacances dans cette maison. Le propriétaire est aux petits soins et répond présent dès que vous avez besoin de quelque chose. La maison est spacieuse et largement suffisante pour 4 adultes. Elle est au calme à 2 kilomètres du centre de Lagos. Ménage fait 2 fois par semaine. Nous ne connaissions pas le Portugal et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Des plages à couper le souffle, le climat et les portugais d'une amabilité à toute épreuve. Pour information, la piscine est bien privative et non pas "à partager" comme écrit dans la description. Il faut une voiture pour visiter ou faire les courses. Pour résumer, si vous cherchez des vacances au calme, je vous conseille cette location pour visiter l'Algarve qui mérite le détour.
