"We are campers, so understand what's involved in living in a campground. The lake was beautiful. The tents nice. We did not use the heaters though it was cold, till morning. Bedding was great. The restroom was a bit of a walk but a port o let was available closeby for those midnight bathroom calls. The kitchen was well supplied. The only microwave was available in the central kitchen. All in all, it was a good experience. "

"Great place to stay. Staff was helpful and friendly, the location is outstanding and so is the property. Green grass from the property leading up to the lake where I took a swim. Beautiful landscaping, relaxing and calm. It’s an easy walk to the town center yet away from its hustle and bustle. I walked the trail along the lake, it was delightful. I’ll definitely come back. "

"This property is a bit different to anything else I've stayed at. It's like a hostel with shared bathrooms and common areas etc. No one that was staying there realised that this was what they had booked. It's perfectly fine but if you need to go to the toilet in the night or have a shower then you have to walk all the way down the corridor and through the common area to use the bathrooms. Having said that, it is clean and quiet and there is good parking."

"The people were very nice, and the location was excellent. I really appreciated the parking in the middle of overloaded Wanaka - and the stunning views from our room. But it was too hot, and the instant coffee sachets were low quality. I even had a plunger provided, but no coffee to go with it. Having said all of that, I'd think about staying there again. It was originally a 1970's/80's THC complex, but has been well looked after. "

"Beautiful property. We ate off property most of the time since we wanted to try different local restaurants so cannot comment about the food. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was large with a nice sitting area and a patio. Great location to use as a base to explore everything Queenstown and the surrounding area has to offer. "
