"A beautiful, quiet and charming guest room in the loveliest of setting. Not far from Albi about 1.5km from the main road, down a rural side road, Hameau de Taur is a wonderful place to stay. Even though communication was difficult because our French is not good and our hostess had no English we had a most pleasant stay. "The host is a very open friendly person with stories and jokes. A good continental breakfast and some seasonal surprise. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the old city, but be careful on the walk back. Even though it looks like a straight shot back, it is Europe & France and the streets are not straight.
