"The house is well equipped and spacious with lots of room to spread out and come together. We used the location to explore the region and had easy access to Sarlat, Beynac, Castelnaud, Domme etc. Highlight was a kayak trip on the Dordogne river past castles and beautiful villages. Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. "We were three families with 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 3 to 14 years of age. The place was absolutely stunning and suited our requirements perfectly. If you wanted some peace and quiet there were plenty of places to retreat to. The outdoor space is immense and the wild flower meadow is the best i've ever seen.
