"This is a pleasant, quiet, updated and well-maintained small stone house. The garden is beautiful and restful, and the location is excellent. A few things: there is a narrow, very steep spiral staircase which is not for the uncoordinated or faint of heart. The kitchen is minimal, with little tableware, a half-dishwasher, and no oven, which we note because we had intended on baking a birthday cake. The landlady/family are very nice and help to make for a pleasant stay."

"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."

The hosts were very responsive over email and Juliette, the property manager, was very helpful getting us checked in and explaining everything about the villa. "Beautiful old farm house, just like one would dream. Spacious, stylish with every appliance, crockery and cutlery, cup and mug you would desire. Very beautiful garden with a fantastic pool, which is surrounded by lovely plants. Very great Boules pitch, also flood lit. House is very peaceful. You can walk to the picteresque town in 25 mins. Boulengerie is amazing, 15 mins walk on the way, on the 2nd corner, dont miss it , by far the best bread cakes pastries in the area,! Intermache...

"This was a great location for our trip around Aix en Provence. Super friendly and helpful staff, we only communicated online and with the check in being so easy, we felt at home right away. My partner and I stayed for a weekend to travel to Marseille and local areas, we had a hire car so the parking availability was perfect. In the end we really appreciated the value of this stay and the quiet location where it was. The room was everything we needed for our weekend adventure, somewhere to relax...
