Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure."

"The house was so beautiful and comfortable. We were transfixed by the views and loved having a fire at night and early morning. The owner left lovely treats for us (salmon, crackers, cheese, eggs, and milk that was unexpected but really appreciated. Location could not be better. I hope we can return some day. "

"From the moment we walked in, we were in love with this lovely home. As hosts, they thought of everything!! You will feel spoiled and pampered when you stay here. In the refrigerator, we were gifted local smoked salmon, Irish cheese, Irish crackers, fresh eggs, milk and juice. There were real wool throw blankets curled up next to the over stocked fireplace. Casa Ceoil - a slice of Irish country life in the West.

"We had an unbelievable time staying at Casa Ceoil in Ruan near Ennis, County Clare. This property is absolutely beautiful, especially if you love animals. Everything was incredibly clean with all that you can ask for- a great sitting area, washer/dryer, big kitchen table and comfortable bedrooms. Barbara was so kind and we loved touring the farm. One thing we all loved was the clean water with amazing water pressure! We were really sad to go as my adult children had made friends with the cats,...

"This home was beautiful and the views were amazing. Checkin was simple and the location was perfect for the cliffs and Aran Islands. It was peaceful and comfortable!"

"The kitchen was ill-equipped- no cheese grater- and the furniture had strips of veneer hanging off which needed to be glued back on. The beds were hard, and none of the strip lights above the basins worked, making shaving difficult. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was poor. However it was a pleasant enough cottage apart from the niggles."

"The cottage was clean and charming. It was in an excellent location overlooking country farms and the Oceanside inlet town of Kilkee and near dramatically beautiful cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. The owners Thomas and Margaret were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I would strongly recommend this place for an Irish vacation."
