700 years of history
Our historic retreat was lovingly restored in 2021/2022. You will stay in a unique ambience. Discover a combination of medieval and modern elements. The first written mention dates back to 1327. "De curia in Letsch obligata dto Thome Tarando", means the court of Latsch is incumbent on Thomas Tarant. He came from the noble family of Tarantsberger zu Dornsberg, at that time Tarantsberg. Between 1610 and 1775 five generations of a judge and lawyer family named Plaß lived in the house, hence the tower building in the middle, which served as a courthouse. In 1781 the Lanpacher line began with Jakob Lanpacher.
