"It is an absolutely fabulous place! Really romantic. We, my wife and me, arrived in a rented car from Vienna, about 350 km from there. Although we had had some troubles with our navigation that was unable to locate Fischerweg for some time, we were finally rewarded for our long trip. "The hotel was a little walk from downtown, but I felt comfortable walking through the neighborhoods at night. It was very easy to walk from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to downtown Villach. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful; the manager was positively the best. She gave me great recommendations and was very quick in responding to my emails. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to meet her to thank her in person. "

Exceptional service.

"The hospitality at Hotel Mangart was absolutely phenomenal. The hostesses went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at home. One hostess accommodated my diet when the dinner menu when I was unable to eat what was being served. Another hostess, Ana S. was exceptional from the beginning of my stay to the end. When I lost my sunglasses in town, she went out of her way to give me a pair of her own which she no longer used. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. "

"Hotel City is ideal for a short or extended stay in Villach. Courteous and friendly staff, comfortable rooms and excellent staff. A great breakfast is included in price. Location couldn’t be better-across square from railway station, beside bus terminal and convenient to centre of town which is only a few minutes stroll. Highly recommended "
