"Great suite, plenty of room to spread out, and a huge tub. Also the drying rack for towels/clothes was a great touch. I wish you could turn the AC on instead of the preselected heat, but opening the windows this time of year worked very well to get the room nice and cool. Close to the bus stop, not a far walk from the train station (a beautiful walk by the way especially if using the free fenicular) and there was a grocery store also very close. "

"We arrived late at Hotel Paradis due to our train schedule. The receptionist welcomed us with a warm smile; their names were Roger, Hanin, and Paula. After an exhausting eight-hour trip from Barcelona, Spain, we were starving. To our dismay, all the nearby restaurants were closed. I asked Mr. Hanin if the hotel bar had any food, and in a kind gesture, he brought us a complimentary bowl of biscuits. We really appreciated his kindness and assistance. "Hotel had nice upgrades to common space w/ indoor pool/spa and sauna. Breakfast area was nice, but we didn't have breakfast any of the mornings. Rooms are tiny, but apparently standard for France. Hotel is in a weird industrial area, but quiet. Eery at night, but seemingly safe and totally fine. Sleepy town. "

"A well-managed property, centrally located, with excellent staff. The ease of parking was especially appreciated. The room was well-designed and maintained. The attractions of central Pau are within easy walking distance. The only downside was the fitness room only opened at noon. "

"The hotel is very nice but the lights in hallways are Motion sensor and when you step out of your room. The hall is pitch black. We had to take an earlier flight and the lobby was also dark and no one was by the desk. We had to ask to turn on the lights while we waited for a cab. Nice hotel but this is concerning!"

"Well, the condition and cleanliness and service were good. You have to ask for everything like iron and hair drier. Asked for bed sheet because I was too hot with comforter and they couldn’t help me."

"We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is very basic but suits our needs as an overnight stop with a dog. Last night we arrived and found the toilet seat cracked through and the sink cracked, the shower sealant was mouldy. I informed the reception about the toilet seat and was told there was no other rooms available and she thanked me for telling her. This morning at breakfast I gave my dog a piece of my paid for baguette and a piece of cheese, the gentleman on reception came into the breakfast room and informed me the food was for humans and not dogs! There was a French man with his dog in the breakfast room, he gave his dog food with no problem. We will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this hotel based onmy latest experience, I felt extremely threatened by the attitude of the male receptionist and his manner towards me. "
