"Emaho Sekawa is a total gem! Fijian warmth and hospitality was on full display from the warm welcome ceremony to the heartwarming goodbye song. The staff were top notch. They were attentive and accommodating at every turn, offering the highest level of personalized service you could imagine. They showed genuine interest in making sure we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We truly enjoyed all activities (sea kayaking, snorkeling, sand island, mud bath and waterfalls, cocoa plantation tour). The property itself is spectacular, with breathtaking ocean and mountain views. We stayed in Villa Emaho which offered total luxury, peace, and tranquility nestled among the dense tropical hillside overlooking Savusavu Bay. The villa was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Everything was in great working order and housekeeping/laundry upon request made our stay very comfortable. The food and service were superb! Everything was made to order with fresh, with local ingredients and served in our villa or at the bar. We were there to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and the chef even made us a delicious gluten free birthday cake with cassava flour! "

"This bure is beautiful inside and out, is nestled into a very lush area with and only a five minute walk to beautiful Sekawa Bay. The pool is refreshing and delightful. At Sekawa Bay, I snorkeled, walked the beach, swam and kayaked (with lots of turtle sightings!!!) Aly is a wonderful host and I appreciate her picking me up and taking me to airport, introducing/driving me to all of the hotspots for shopping, including the grocery stores, market and meat shop (for the barbecue!) and taking me to a beautiful fresh water river for a swim. Aly also has great recommendations if you have any questions. I was looking for a retreat so the distance from town was not a concern for me. There was no AC and it was a bit hot at night for me but I still give it 5/5. I hope to return to Lilypond Bure in the future. Thank you Aly & Gadget for your hospitality. "

"We've had the great pleasure of staying at Lisa and Roy's beautiful Sekawa Beach Cottage for the last week and a half. I cannot begin to tell you what a lovely place this is and what a lovely couple Roy and Lisa are. The house is located in a beautifully quiet area outside of Savusavu amongst beautiful gardens and birdsong. The house is in tip-top condition and has everything you could possible need for a comfortable stay. The massive California King bed may also be the most comfy bed I've ever slept in while on holiday. (Great night sleep every night.) The big kitchen is set up with modern/new appliances... the bathroom is big and clean and the shower has awesome water pressure. Roy and Lisa couldn't be more kind and accommodating. If fact, we were supposed to check out of here yesterday and go to a different accommodation for the rest of our stay in Savusavu. Once we arrived at "Bill's place", we instantly regretted it. While charging close to the same amount as Sekawa Beach Cottage, it wasn't even close in comparison. The lack of cleanliness was shocking. We immediately phoned Lisa to see if she still had an opening so we could come back and she did! We immediately left the other sad accommodation and were greeted as old friends when Roy and Lisa welcomed us back. If you're debating if this is the right place for you... just make the booking, you will not regret it. Vinaka vakalevu, Roy and Lisa! "

"It doesn’t get more beautiful, private, and beach than this. We walked in the beach for sunset every day, used Alex’s kayak to paddle out and snorkel at the reef, and enjoyed cooking meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Alex and Avi are wonderful hosts. Responsive, welcoming, friendly. The cottage is beautifully designed and clean. The sound of the waves and birdsong was so relaxing. We highly recommend this beautiful spot!"

"Close to town and new shopping centre and cinemas . Nice room friendly staff. We explored the beautiful ruralfarmlands nearby and the mountain backdrop. Labasa is a very nice town"
