"The view from our room was amazing. The only hiccup was at checkin as their marching that makes the keys for the rooms wasn’t working. The managers stepped in and they made the best of a bad situation. All in all they were great and the staff was very accommodating. "

"We don't often travel over the winter holidays, but a family gathering brought us here. We had stayed at the hotel before and were thoroughly satisfied. This time, things could have been better. Check-in was wonderful and parking was excellent. Breakfast couldn't have been better. But, when 2:30 pm came and there were no new linens and a major event to go to in 90 minutes, we were more than concerned. We had already let the front desk know; the housekeeping line having been busy. We were told they had until 6:00 pm and were down one machine. We didn't want them coming in when we were trying to dress for the occasion. So, we ended up going down and getting the linens ourselves. We left about 4:00 and things were put in order on our return, but the stress was a concern. The following morning, while looking for an earring, I saw a water bottle, wad of gum and other such treasures that we didn't use or bring. Obviously, they were leftovers from previous visitors. That was a surprise. People were wonderful from security to the front desk."

Down Town Buffalo, 20 Minutes From The Niagara Falls

"We are a family of 4, our children are 13 and 5. We loved that everyone had their own room. Our 5 year old still takes baths and there wasn’t a stopper for the tub so he couldn’t take a bath- the shower head wasn’t very high pressure but it was fine. The place was very well kept and close to everywhere we wanted to visit while in Buffalo. The house is definitely old but very clean and warm. One thing we all would have wanted was better mattresses. They all caved into the middle and weren’t easy on bad backs… good neighborhood and would definitely recommend! The host was also very accommodating and communicative!"

"Had a stay-cation here so I’m very familiar with the area, but it was the first time at this hotel. Huge rooms, nice view, but beds were not comfortable. Valet parking for $25, which is perfect because parking downtown can be tricky. Walked to Sheas for a show (6-7 mins away). Lots of dining options for all budgets, Starbucks and Spot coffee 1/2 block away. Hotel has a welcome reception with one free drink for each guest and some snacks, but it was celery and carrots and some dry snacks. Great nightlife with many bars within walking distance. "
