"Clean, comfortable. open floor plan home. Great pool and a nice neighborhood. Most of the basics but missing some of the extras (no hair dryers, only a couple coffee pods a couple , no toaster) "

"Plenty of room in a good neighborhood, comfy beds. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Kitchen and bathrooms could be cleaner. Upstairs bathroom had no hot water and you get one flush every 30 minutes, due to slow water pressure in toilet. Overall a great stay in New Orleans!"

"We certainly enjoyed our stay. The views and the bird watching off the back deck are certainly entertaining. We were even lucky enough to see an alligator one morning. I wish we hadn't been so busy with football in Baton Rouge, so we could have enjoyed the property even more. A return visit is a must! The town of Vacherie is so precious. "Good location. It is in an older, but conveniently located NOLA residential neighborhood. The house is a traditional double shotgun style, common in uptown NOLA. It is similar to the houses my wife and I grew up in. It was clean and well furnished. AC, etc all worked well. We had no problem parking all week right in front of the home. The owner lives in an apartment behind the rental and his sister lives on the other side of the double. "
