There are multiple places to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. I could have spent all day, every day out there just sitting and relaxing. "We just spent our 4th new year retreat at Skinner Lake cottage. It is so peaceful, comfortably furnished, close to great places to eat and shop. We bring all our books, make a meal or tea, and relax. Monday was sunny and we had our coffee and read out on the deck. We love this place!"

"I got my mom away for the weekend and my daughter met us there as a halfway point. We had a wonderful extended weekend. Upon arrival, we realized that our place was directly on opposite side of driveway facing the host house. Although, we new it was on the property, we weren't aware of the close proximity and were concerned about privacy. However, the hosts were so kind and hospitable. They were very respectful about not overstepping. We loved seeing the animals. The sheep had babies...
