"We enjoyed our stay, 2 nice size bedrooms downstairs,but the loft is only accessible with a pull-down attic type ladder. It would be ok for older children but not safe for kids under 10 or so. Could be stocked better in the kitchen if you’re planning on doing a lot of cooking. The beds are FIRM, which I loved ! Also, no dishwasher. Even with these few inconveniences we will still stay here again. It was very peaceful. "

"Would stay again in the winter time, but currently there are some problems:The foundation on the lake side of the house has sunken down which has caused the front door to not touch the floor, is has so much clearance that it's not just open to large bugs, but when a storm cam through, water and debris was coming under the door. "Lakeview was AMAZING Clean and comfortable 2bed 2 bath house.Simple, no frills inside BUT we spent a lot of time on the almost wrap around deck.Access could be slightly tricky when it rains. "I honestly cannot describe the experience from how we’re feeling. We found our new vacation spot for adult time (no kids) getaways and with the whole family. The home is beyond well taken care of and clean, check in was super easy, and the homes was the “cozy” we needed to get away from work and kids. We didn’t pick the best weekend due to the weather, that weren’t prepared for, for outdoor activities, but we did go into Pine Mountain and spend time with the locals who were so welcoming and...

"We used to rent the cabins over at Highland Marina each year for my wife's birthday. They no longer allow pets, so we had to change our annual lake retreat and found this place. Blows the 3 bedroom "chalet" over at Highland out of the water :) This house is gorgeous and big, so we have rooms for us, her parents, her friends and our kids all in the same place AND Charlie the dog can stay, walk around outside and jump in the lake.
