This beautiful glamping site offers a peaceful experience for you to unwind and unplug. The serene ambiance is complemented by the presence of friendly farm animals including horses, goats, dogs, and cats. The "Back to Nature Tent" boasts a memory foam queen-sized mattress and enchanting forest decor designed to lift your spirits and transport you to your own magical fairy land. As you approach our farm, the rolling hills of the countryside will welcome you, as you notice a sense of greater ease wash over you. Upon entering your site you will see that every detail was intentionally chosen to make your glamping experience one of a kind. Combined with the peaceful sounds of nature; this "Welcome Home to Nature" Glamping Tent is truly an experience you don't want to miss. We understand the importance of staying connected, even during your getaway. That's why our Welcome Home to Nature Tent is equipped with lighting, heat, a fan, and an outlet. Bring your watercolors, your journal, or simply plan on taking a nap in one of the hammocks...ready and awaiting your relaxation! The brand-new bathhouse, steps from the Come Home to Nature Tent is shared by both of our glamping tents. It is a beautifully designed structure made with local sawmill wood and repurposed tin. It features a lighted walking path for easy access. You provide towels and your bath products. We provide the rest! Inside, you will find a hot shower with benches, hooks, and storage areas for your belongings. The floor is adorned with natural stone, giving it a rustic and natural aesthetic. Adjacent to the bathhouse is a private bathroom with a flushing toilet, sink, and a designated area to put your belongings. The bathhouse is cleaned daily to ensure a comfortable and hygienic experience for guests. Guests are welcome to freely roam the property and may encounter friendly farm animals while they roam! You can go inside the goat pasture but be sure to lock the gates. Please do not feed the animals. Please text Susan if you need anything. There is firewood on site. You are welcome to go into the goat pasture and feed them lettuce scraps. They are very sensitive and can die easily so be careful if you feed then anything other than lettuce or fruit. You are welcome to make a fire or use the picnic tables under the barn. Takes walk freely, there is a little wooded trail if you walk past the cabin and the horse pasture. There is one queen size bed per site. You are also welcome to bring a tent for the kids DIY-style. The cute little town of Lafayette, GA is 5 miles away where you can find a few restaurants and boutiques. Queens Lake is about 4 miles away and a lovely spot for the sunset and a kayak excursion. There are 5 pizza places in town, but we most recommend The Crushed Tomato which is local. If you are here during spring, summer or fall, check out our local farmer's market. This is a very proud farming community, and the Lafayette Farmer's Market has grown so much in the past few years. Sometimes there is live music in the little city of Lafayette. Check here for upcoming events. The food at Toki is decent and the Chinese food at Number 1 Chinese is surprisingly consistently good. Lucky Eye Q is awesome if you LOVE smoked meat that is both plentiful & delicious. And everyone likes our local Station House restaurant. Casual bar/restaurant with interesting Eastern twists, as the chef is Thai. The donuts from Dough & Co are worth every calorie. There is a dollar general 5 minutes away and town is 8 minutes away.
