"Nice place, a bit older, but clean. close to ocean, but a bit of a walk to get there. Big climb to get to rooms, ok if you are not physically hampered. Close to some decent dining if you have a car. Food at property was average. Great value for dollars. Rooms very small and bank of 5 rooms share a small patio space. Nice common space below at front office. Many staff were volunteers from other countries learning to Kite Surf, they were all very friendly."

"Excellent balance of luxury and immersion in nature. Key things to know: stunning beach where we never saw more than 2 other guests, the cabanas are open to the wind and sounds of nature but the way they are secured with screens and sealed doors resulted in zero insect visitors (and the wind and cooling unit over the bed provided for a very comfortable temp), and there will be a need to traverse many steps throughout the day. Lastly, the views here are unlike anything we’ve experienced before....

"This was a last minute hotel for us. The staff was great, room was spacious, and the grounds were amazing. The volcano view from our room was breathtaking. Definitely an all around great find and we will be staying here again next time we are on the island of Ometepe."

"Manuel and his family run a lovely homey lodge, and they were super friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable, immaculate and spacious and the air conditioning and room darkening shades were a pleasant surprise —we slept so well! This is a very unique and personal quality accommodation. I would definitely go back. The lodge has a lot of style and you will feel well cared for. "

"Nicest place in the area. One of the best restaurant also and very well located for the surf (walking distance). Service (for the hotel and the restaurant) is very average (same staff). Not welcoming, not engaging with clients. Should they improve that and teach the staff about hospitality, this place would be great."
