I was very happily surprised by this spacious studio apartment. It is very confortable and has beautmiful views from every window. I loved the balcony and the views of the stars at nice. It is in close proximity to Zion Park. We will be returning and we will be staying here again.

We so enjoyed our stay in La Verkin. Jan and Leland were such nice hosts. The studio was perfect. The weather was great so we hiked nearly every day. We came home and relaxed in the the evenings. Would highly recommend!!

Lovely place and Clean
Visiting Zion National park for the first time and found this place to stay. It is about a 30min drive, you do not feel it because of the beautiful scenery all around. I have stayed in many rentals for vacations and trips and this one is a top place for being clean. The bed covers smelled so good! Kudos to you guys. The property owners were attentive and helpful.

Just 20 minutes from zion. Great place to come back to and relax after a long day of hiking. Having the option to cook for yourself is great and certainly saves a lit of $$.

Great location for Zion!
Jan & Leland place is perfect for hiking in Zion! The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook and the patio was our favourite place to eat our dinner. It is quiet and has tons of games to play in the evening. There’s a great coffee shop/ pizza place 5 min away that we loved too!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean & the perfect size for the 4 of us. We enjoyed eating breakfast out on the balcony & coming back in the evening & unwinding in the cool night air. It was a perfect place to stay for us to visit Zion’s & found many hiking trails nearby. Jan & her husband were so sweet & greeted us as we arrived (They were out doing yard work) and told us if we needed anything to let them know. We will definitely stay here again if we are down in that area!

Senior Trip Getaway
Adventure with my son and his friend who both just graduated HS. Wanted to go to Zion and hike and spend time out together. This location was perfect. The house worked very well and the hosts were tremendous. Great people and enjoyed meeting them. Highly recommend!

Loving LaVerkin
The apartment was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The unit had many windows that allowed for sunshine all day. The patio was perfect for sunning and taking in the sights and sounds of the neighborhood, cows, birds. Roosters and mountains! The hosts were lovely and told us about the area and answered any questions we had! We loved that LaVerkin was a short tour from Xion because we didn't have to deal with crowds. Also there are wonderful little, affordable restaurants (Lupitas) nearby. Thanks to the hosts and hope to be back soon!

Decent place to stay while visiting Zion
Over all this was a fair price and served our needs (there were four in our group) for a place to sleep while visiting Zion National Park for a few days, however, there were so many small issues that we encountered, that I can't give it 5 stars. The owner was extremely good about responding when there was a problem, and very apologetic about things, however, there was no attempt on their part to make us ever want to stay there again (such as, offering any sort of rebate or compensation). The first thing that we had to do upon entering (after a full day of travel), was pick up at least 30 dead flies scattered throughout the apartment, so we were not off to a good start. Then, the next morning, as the four of us were trying to get in/out of the bathroom to get an early start on the trails at Zion, the fuse in the (one) bathroom went out, and so we were delayed by almost an hour since we couldn't see what we were doing. Although the owner did try to help later with the fuse issue, it happened again, when we returned at night, all of us needing to take showers, etc. And, more dead flies.... But, it was Thanksgiving weekend and we didn't have any other options for going somewhere else since everything was full in the area, so we just dealt with it. But between the bathroom blacking out and flies dropping dead on the bedding and kitchen counters, it was over all not a great experience. There was also someone returning home late in the evening, as we were all falling asleep, and their car horn and lights kept going off directly under one of our windows, as they locked and unlocked their car (omg!!). I do feel that somehow these things were a fluke, and not typical for this rental (there were rips in a couple screens that may have accounted for the flies? The wiring in the bathroom suddenly went on the fritz?), because the guest book was full of positive remarks, and other online reviews were good also. So, I would like to give the benefit of the doubt, but also felt a need to be honest with my review of our experience.
