"We stayed for two nights to catch an Olympic futbol game. We were two families of 5 each. We rented the whole property. The owner is fantastic and accomodated a late check in. He also advised us on how to get to the city and park without issue. The location is in a quiet street. The property didn’t have AC but we knew this to be the case and we were ok with it. Most rooms had a large fan that also helped. They are very eco friendly which is always good to see. Thank you very much for sharing your unit with us."

"Not an ideal location if you plan to use public transit to visit Lyon. Our cab from the train station was 70 euro, and in hindsight we could have stayed in just as nice of a hotel closer to the city after considering the price we had to pay in transportation. There was no one at reception when we checked in (during regular hours), my cell phone couldn’t connect to the assistance number so luckily our taxi driver allowed us to use his phone so we could call to be checked in. When the worker arrived at reception he was friendly and spoke fluent English. We visited in early June and our room was warm and damp with no option for AC because the weather wasn’t hot enough. We also expected to avail of the pool displayed in the photos for this hotel however the pool was closed. It must only be open during a specific time frame however, this time frame was not mentioned in the listing. Overall we had a mostly comfortable stay and the staff was nice, however the amenities were not as expected and the location was not convenient for the price."

"The hotel itself is OK. It gives off this vibe like someone really cared when it started, the rooms and furnishings are really nice, but then completely gave up, as the details are cheap and staff is tragic. The checkin lady made me feel like her day’s worst burden, then said that the restaurant only sells frozen pizza and if we want something edible, we can drive elsewhere (in an establishment named Hotel Restaurant Riccoty). Later, when paying for the city tax, it took her good 5 minutes to come up with a bill for €1,48. To top it off, the staff forgot to call us a taxi, despite being repeatedly reminded that we really need it to be there early morning, less we miss our flight. Luckily, an Uber was near and flight caught, but I will never set foot in this hotel again. "

"Stayed just for 1 night which was too little time! My wife said it’s very charming and “homey” (I agree), and the host was very nice and friendly. Breakfast included home made bread, crepes fresh jam and cheese. Just remember that it’s a very old building with no elevator filled with quirks and the washroom is a little small but it adds to the place’s wonder. Definitely would stay again!"

"We were returning from skiing and wanted a day to play in Lyon prior to getting on the plane. This was a nice, out of the way place. We went to Lyon and had fun, and were close to the airport when it was time to leave. The house we clean, check in was easy, owner was very helpful. I would stay again!"
