"It was a great place to hide from the real world. Nice room, good food, but pricey. Lots of mosquitos, couldn’t really sit outside my a/c room in the evening. The spa was wonderful. There was nothing to do in the neighborhood. No public transportation at all. In our room there was a description of their pool(s) that they had a second pool on the beach front. "Hotel was charming with a unique decor - staff very accommodating and friendly. View wonderful and a homey feel with the two dogs that were present. Only concern was that air conditioner was working to full potential in the room I stayed in for one night. I would highly recommend the De Sea Almond Hotel in Chumphon , Thailand."

"Huge modern hotel with large rooms for 680 baht. Strong WiFi (each room has its own router) and friendly staff. Wide choice for breakfast. As a vegetarian I was able to have toast, fried eggs and fresh fruit. Everything else had meat or meat products. Location is very central. Bear in mind the walls in the hotel are super thin. There was ‘adult activity’ going on next door day and night, and I could hear everything. Which wasn’t great."
