"Das Haus liegt in einer Schlucht am Ende des Dorfes. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt, ist in dieser Lage gut aufgehoben. Allerdings müssen an der Ausstattung des Hauses dringend Erneuerungen vorgenommen werden. Sehr alte Möbel und die Räume sind ausgesprochen finster. Besonders die Küche und das Bad Bedarf einer Überholung. In der Küche findet man nur alte, minderwertige Dinge. Weder Wasserkocher noch Toaster ist vorhanden. Aufgrund der Lage am Bach und Waldrand ist man den Insekten ausgesetzt."

L’hôte est très gentil et accessible, parle plusieurs langues et très disponible. Accessible en centre ville en 15 à 20 minutes de bus avec un arrêt à 10 minutes à pied, idéalement situé !"

"I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Castellare for two weeks with some friends and my parents. This was a trip that had to be postponed two years(!!) due to the pandemic, so it had some pretty high expectations to live up to, and it met them all. The property was so beautiful and worked very well do our group, allowing us to get privacy when needed, and come together as a group when we wanted to. We were able to easily get into Florence when we wanted, and we’re able to take day trips...

"We enjoyed our stay in this charming and updated farmhouse. Our host Alvaro was helpful and communicated very promptly and clearly. Some things it's important to know about the property: 1. The roads leading in are very winding, 1-lane (2-way) roads and can be challenging especially at night. You have to execute an uphill 3-point turn to get into the driveway.
