Nice but standard
A lovely hotel if your into spa treatments. If not then you could find as nice a hotel at a cheaper rate. It is a nice hotel but really a basic lay out, not much different than a travelodge but with better decoration.

Wonderful break
We loved the spa bath. The room and facilities were spotless. Staff very helpful. Never did find the car park but managed to find a space on the road. Very good location.

Nice, new hotel in walking distance from city center but in a quite neighborhood. We had a standard room, not very big but had everything. Ii just mist place to open your suitcases. In de room we couldn’t sit( only on the bed) but in de lounge downstairs you could sit. The hotel has no parking on own ground, but we could park very nearby

Wonderful stay
We used Central Park hotel as a stop over on our way further south. We are a family with 2 young children (aged 4&6) and stayed in a family room which has a second bedroom with twin beds. It was so fantastic! Amazing to be able to put the children to bed and not have to go to sleep ourselves! A really friendly hotel, we speak only a little French and everyone was so accommodating and encouraging of our French! The room was perfect and breakfast delicious. We walked into La Rochelle old town easily. I would absolutely stay again and heartily recommend.

Modern hotel in great location
Great location in urban park. Quiet but close to centre of La Rochelle and beach. Excellent quality breakfast. Nearby parking available. We would personally have liked a proper hotel bar. McNulty’s Irish bar on the way into the centre offers a warm welcome.La Rochelle Aquarium is a nearby mustn’t miss attraction

From check in the staff were excellent throughout the stay. Very accommodating and helpful. Good breakfast, and comfortable bed. Room was good, apart from not being able to have the air conditioning below 22 degrees. For me that is too warm at night. Ok during the day, but not for sleeping.

Chose a stay in La Rochelle randomly, for a few civilised days by the sea (after being landlocked in the Charente with group of friends). A local friend warned us about the town being car hostile, and (especially during rugby tournament) extremely lively at night. We found Central Park just off the city centre, with a local parking (fairly essential if you are driving), and separated from the town by a beautifully maintained park area. Hotel clean, quiet, comfortable, and unostentatious, with a team of professional staff. Excellent breakfast if you want, and informal room service/bar all day. Hammam/spa which we did not use. La Rochelle port/town an easy and pleasant ten minutes paved walk away. Extremely easy place to stay - would unquestionably return another time. Thanks

staff ruined our experience!
Requested early check in, it was one day trop for my nephew's birthday, 19 y.o, the property messaged this will be accommodated. Arrived to the hotel and they said the room won't be ready and they will call me when it it. We had to change our plans. Again it was a special occasion trip. They offered to keep our bags in the storage though. No one called me. We returned to the hotel just before 9 pm and no one was at the reception. we called the reception, we rang the bell. the wait was long, for 20 minutes. We started looking for anither property but out staff was with this hotel. Luckily for us the receptionist appeared and we managed to get in with one card only they issued for us. So when I left the property I had to leave the card for my nephew in the room so he has lights and then I was buzzing the bell from outside and had to wait for a while for the staff to let me in. Also when I was in the shower the was men's hair in the shower base. To add, the 4 stars spa hotels does not have slippers in the room. The hotel is nice but the experience was ruined by its staff!!!!!
