This 8-bedroom modern villa can host 14 guests. It is spacious, fully-renovated with comfortable interiors and an open kitchen, garden with barbecue and offers complete privacy. It is situated near La Roche-en-Ardenne in the heart of the Ardennes river and is ideal for large groups and families.

If you are a sports buff, there is good news ahead for you, as near this holiday home are several sporting activities like kayaking, rafting, biking and hiking carried out which will give you a solid adrenaline rush amid the pleasant surrounding, enriching your stay even more. General supplies and restaurants for availing basic necessities and going out for meals can be found 7 km away respectively from this villa. The medieval Durbuy town is close,so you must pay it a visit.

The second floor of this villa has 2 sitting areas while a separate section with its own living-dining room and kitchen is present on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available and there are whopping 9 parking spaces available on the premises.

We had a great time at Gite VillaRoche. The house is really big with plenty of space for all 13 people of our group. The living room is large and even has a little bar in the corner. To our surprise there also was a pool table on the upper floor. The surrounding environment is beautiful. You can just walk right into nature. Chances are we'll be back next year.

Schönes Haus mit Schimmelproblem
Wir hatten die gesamte Unterkunft von Villa La Roche für ein langes Wochenende im Mai gemietet. Auf dem ersten Blick war alles super. Sehr ordentlich und sauber, die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Leider war das Wetter sehr schlecht an dem Wochenende & es hatte viel vor unserer Ankunft und am gleichen Tag geregnet. Beim letzten Zimmer kam dann der Schock - es regnet rein. Nicht nur etwas durchs Fenster sondern durch die Dachbalken. Die Matratze & der Boden waren schon komplett durchnässt & Schimmel war deutlich am Fenster zu erkennen. Wir haben den Vermieter kontaktiert, welcher sich sofort darum gekümmert hat, dass die Putzfrau kam um alles sauber zu machen. Auch er kam am nächsten Morgen vorbei. Wir hatten Glück, dass wir das Zimmer doch nicht brauchten da welche aus unserer Gruppe abgesagt hatten. Der Vermieter hätte zur Not noch ein Zimmer gehabt welches er uns auch angeboten hat. Leider schien er vom Schimmel nicht so verstört wie wir & erklärte dies dadurch, dass der Mai sehr Nass gewesen sei & wir die ersten Mieter der Saison sei. Dennoch ist Schimmel etwas was nicht von jetzt auf gleich kommt & vor unserer Reise hätte auffallen müssen. Da wir keinen Fass aufmachen wollten & unser Wochenende nicht davon ruinieren lassen wollten (da sich auch direkt darum gekümmert wurde und alles weitere wirklich super war) haben wir es dabei gelassen & die Tür zu dem Zimmer einfach geschlossen gelassen. Eine Teil-Rückerstattung wurde abgelehnt da wir uns erst nach 3 Wochen gemeldet

Fijn verblijf, alles was proper, aangename leefruimte waar zeker voldoende plaats is. Ideaal om met meerdere gezinnen te verblijven. Klein minpuntje, de basisvoorzieningen zijn beperkt. Bijvoorbeeld afwasproduct en dergelijke waren niet aanwezig.

De voetbaltafel ontbrak, dus ons tafelvoetbaltornooi viel in het water. Enkele kamers hadden last van geurhinder. Er was ook 1 douchedeur die niet goed sloot. 3 keukens maar slechts 1 keuken met materiaal, dus telkens materiaal verplaatsen. De potten zijn niet heel groot. Als je echt eten wilt maken voor 18 man (max capaciteit vd woning) dan heb je veelal meer dan 1 pot nodig om iets klaar te maken. Wij waren met 12 en dat lukte net. In de keukenkast waren netjes achteraan 2 gebroken glazen verstopt van een vorige huurder.

De communicatie met de verhuurder verliep heel vlot, we werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen! De woning is voorzien van één grote gemeenschappelijke ruimte (met tafel voor 18 personen), bar, zetels, keuken welke degelijk ingericht is en ruim voorzien is van kookgerei! Vlakbij de gemeenschappelijke ruimte heb je twee (vernieuwde) kamers met elk hun eigen badkamer. De overige slaapkamers bevinden zich in aparte “delen” van de woning. Per twee slaapkamers wordt er een badkamer gedeeld. Deze slaapkamers zijn iets minder modern, maar dat was voor ons slechts een detail aangezien we het merendeel van de tijd doorbrachten in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Voor de rest bevinden er zich nog 2 extra keukens, waardoor het zeker geen probleem is om voor een grote groep te koken. Je moet wel wat trappen doen om de extra keukens te gebruiken. Een van beide keukens heeft nog een extra vaatwasser, waardoor je met twee vaatwassers amper zelf de vaat moet doen tijdens je verblijf. Er zijn in totaal 4 frigo’s, dus zeker geen probleem om alles koel te krijgen. De woning is voorzien van een ruime tuin met bijhorende voorzieningen. Lijkt me ideaal om in de zomer wat tijd door te brengen! Qua ligging is het een heel rustige omgeving waar je uitgebreid kan wandelen.

We had a great time in the house and want to thank Peter and his wife for the warm welcome they provided for us. The large house had plenty of room for all the sixteen of us and the whole area around La Roche was a pleasure to visit.

Het huis ligt in een mooie omgeving waar je fijn kan wandelen. Er is voldoende ruimte voor het aantal personen dat er kan slapen. In het begin wel even zoeken waar alle kamers zich bevinden. Sommige kamers waren nogal gehorig maar desondanks hebben de kleine kinderen (en wij) goed kunnen slapen. De grote tafel is zeer aangenaam voor een grote groep! Gezellig tafelen en kletsen gaat daar goed aan.
