LIVING AREA

The light-filled Great Room is detailed with a gas fireplace and a large TV, plus a sunken wet bar with a wine fridge and its own TV and separate seating area.

GAMES ROOM

The game room is complete with billiards, shuffleboard table with bowling accessories, Jurassic Park pinball, a 4-person, 4000+ game arcade machine (Mario, Donkey Kong, Asteroids, Galaga, Pac-Man, Star Wars, Tetris, sports, racing, action, puzzle, etc etc etc), electronic basketball machine with moving hoop, ping-pong, Transformers-themed chess, electronic darts, cornhole, and racing games, as well as a fridge and TV. Not to mention awesome decor like a life sized Spider-Man and Han Solo in carbonite, racing and comic themed art and movie posters.

KITCHEN & DINING

The chef's kitchen is configured with granite counters and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances.

Grab a quick breakfast at the three-person kitchen peninsula or dine together at the table for eight with an extra four seats at the bar.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps 12 guests between five bedrooms and two sleeper sofas.

The primary suite is appointed with a king bed, large TV, a fireplace, and direct courtyard access. The spa-like en-suite bathroom includes a double vanity, TV, separate water closet, jetted soaking tub, and a walk-in two-person rain shower.

The second suite has a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination, and a private patio with mini golf access.

The third suite holds a twin-over-full bunk bed, a twin trundle, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The guest bedroom includes a queen bed and courtyard access. An adjacent half bath provides added convenience.

Cook outdoors in your mountain-view oasis -- the courtyard includes a built-in gas grill and a small covered alfresco dining area.

The resort-style pool features a bubble-jetted tanning shelf. For added comfort, the water is heated in winter and stays pretty cool in the summers.

Soak in the spa or practice your aim on the putting green. Enjoy happy hour in the covered conversation area or after-dinner stargazing around the gas firepit.

Driveway parking is available for two vehicles. Additional street parking is available directly in front of the house.

This home cannot be used for parties/weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 12 people, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day. Over-occupancy or excessive noise any time of day will result in guest fines up to $1,000. Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy may result in eviction. This home is in a sound-sensitive neighborhood.

Local regulations require that the property manager meet you at the property upon arrival to review the applicable city ordinances pertaining to your stay.

Rather than add a flat pool heat fee, renters pay actual costs of propane for pool heat, firepit and fireplaces. That way, you decide how much you want to use and it's fair for all.

Castaneda Family reunion
It was enjoyable weekend to celebrate my youngest brother’s 50th bday. There was a broken frame in the bed of the casita. A dining room chair had a seat unattached. The casita air conditioner was not performing well. However otherwise the main house was well air conditioned and comfortable. We are forever grateful of the time we spent with my brother on his 50tj birthday as my brother was killed 2 days later after a tragic hit and run accident.

Fabulous house
Fabulous house, yard, pool and the garage with all the games was so fun. Property manager was very accessible. My family would definitely stay there again. Cute neighborhood and little hiking trail nearby.

Family Fun Time
Hopefully, this home will be our go-to for a wonderful fun-filled family vacation. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool and spa were clean. The landscaping was lovely, with delicious oranges, lemons and kumquats. The host responded within minutes of receiving a text from us. Didn’t have a chance to use the bbq. Location is great, with hiking trails very close by and enjoyed nice walks into La Quinta. The neighborhood is quiet. We look forward to returning again. Thank you for sharing your home.

We enjoyed staying at this spacious home with our extended family for Christmas. The house was clean and all the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. We also appreciated that all the bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. The kitchen is large with numerous cabinets, spices, dish washing soap supplied. My grandkids loved playing in the pool. Check out time is a little early at 10 am but can be extended for $100 per hour.

Fun ion the Sun
We came for a wedding an extended our stay to enjoy some time in the sun. The home was even better than the pictures. The gameroom provided so much fun for us and our adult children. Lots of competitions going on there. The home was clean, well supplied and the owner was extremely prompt with replies and answers to questions. The only trouble we had was not being able to get the hot tub :hot". We hope to return sooner than later.

The property is very spacious. We enjoyed the game room, large storage, activities like the puzzles, clean. The pool however was concerning. The surface/bottom was made rough which caused a few of us to have minor scrapes. For the convenience of the renters perhaps starting the washing machines with the pool towels will suffice rather than folding and putting them away.

This property and home are laid out very nicely. The house was very clean, and everyone had fun in the game room. The pool area was very nice. Norm was great with his communication and was very accommodating. We would definitely consider staying here again.

50th anniversary celebration
On the whole the house worked out great. Very pretty setting with hiking paths close by. Even though the house instructions were plentiful, some were confusing. With current technologies, we felt that the tv hookups should be updated to eliminate some of the remotes. The supplies for the kitchen and bathrooms were plentiful. The game room was a hit with the kids and adults. Unfortunately, we spent more time in the game room because of the windy and cool weather. We heated the hot tub but not the pool because we really did not know what kind of charges we would incur if heated the pool. It all worked out. A couple of the counters were not cleaned thoroughly. I bring these things up just for your info. Again, the house worked for our family and a good time was had by all.

Large, well stocked house in LaQuinta Cove. Close to Old Town LaQuinta and Cove to Lake Trail system. House is well laid out and easy to live in. Norm was easy to work with.

Perfect house for a large family gathering of multi-generations.
There was plenty of space throughout the house to enjoy. The outdoor pool and hot tub was beautiful. The fire pit was a fun place to gather as the evening cooled. The game room and outdoor golf green was enjoyed by both the kids and their parents. Owner/Management were informative and answered questions immediately. Rating: All the stars.

Great Place!
This was a great place with large amenities. Lounging around the pool and spa, Fire pit and couches and chairs. Activities in garage was tremendous. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and living areas were great. Place is a little dated, but overall a great place to stay.

We rented this property for a family vacation....rooms are nice and the game room is a plus, however, beware of the neighbors bc they are not fans of the house being a short-term rental (even have signs in their yards saying so) and the owner charged us for "propane" to heat the pool. Would not rent again.

This property was beautiful. Very spacious for everyone to spread out. The game room was a huge hit. Large Kitchen. Casita was perfect for 2 people that had to work remotely part of the time. Quiet neighborhood with hiking trails nearby. We would stay there again.

The house is large and well-kept. Our main complaint is that we all felt "sealed" inside - there are no screens on the doors in order to leave them open, and the living room only has high windows and, again, no way to get in fresh air.

Overall, We recommend it!!
Quiet neighborhood and very nice floorplan and fun game room. The cleaning job was not too perfect and the swimming pool is a little dangerous for little kids cause of rocks.
