For The Love of Golf, we are pleased to offer this home at an introductory price we do not believe can be beat for any luxury vacation home in La Quinta.

This home is, quite simply, perfect for getaways, special occasions and, of course, GOLF. Enjoy amazing panoramic views from this sensational home on the 14th hole of the world famous Weiskopf course at PGA West. This home defines understated elegance while providing maximum comfort with walls that breath vacation air sure to make all guests relaxed and happy as one looks out the glass walls which capture the majestic mountain views. The home is designed to capture the essence of La Quinta's laid back ambiance while set-up to allow for entertaining in style with a granite island gourmet kitchen, wonderful tile floors a bar and well-acquainted bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms.

Our guess, however, is that you will not want to spend all your time in the home. Please take some time to BBQ outside or just relax or entertain and have a drink on the deck while taking in the sunset over the plush golf course. Better yet, put on the swimsuit and embrace the view while enjoying the fantastic pool. Or, still better, play some golf and then hit the pool. This home is located on the only course designed by the legendary Tom Weiskopf in the entire Coachella Valley. Golfers from around the world travel to play the Weiskopf course with its Scottish links and Swilcan Bridges which is so familiar to those who have traveled or seen on television the Old Course at St. Andrews. Stunning views across a near perfect landscape enhance the experience of playing this magnificent course.

While the Weiskopf is considered a favorite of many golfers, it is one of the six top-rated courses at PGA West. As anyone who has visited will tell you, PGA West is one of this nation's premier resorts featuring 109 holes of championship golf and unmatched class and opulence at the many clubhouses from which to choose; not to mention the countless amenities. You’ll find 19 tennis courts here as well as fine dining, classes to keep in shape, and relaxing spa services. Facilities are available for weddings and other events. Regardless of whether or not you stay with us, we hope you get a chance to enjoy La Quinta and perhaps run into one of the "rich and famous" or even a president, many of whom have played golf here.

As many know, Disney’s California Adventure Park in Anaheim and EPCOT Center Disney World in Florida use of the foothills in Soarin' Over California. Footage for the Palm Springs section of the attraction actually shot at PGA West. Of one thing we can be sure, if you choose to stay in the home, you will never forget the time you spent by the pool in the shadows of the lovely Santa Rosa Mountains. There are others homes with this view, but not of this quality at this price.

Perfect vacation location
The view and pool are wonderful, just as pictured and what drew us to this home. The home has an excellent floor plan including the casita that all made for an excellent experience. We are planning to return next year.

Hurricane Hilary in a VRBO
We were staying at this lovely home when Hurricane Hilary was predicted to hit the Palm Springs area. Kudos and many thanks to Daniel and his maintenance crew who arrived prior to the storm to check on us and to remove lawn furniture, etc. to ensure that we would be safe from flying objects and possible damage to the house. Olivia, our contact with property management responded quickly and efficiently when we contacted her. Thank you all!

Christmas Break get away
The house was clean ready for us upon arrival. We enjoyed the location near the 14th green. A great spot to sit and relax. We did not use the pool and spa, but they are clean and a nice water feature. The available golf cart made for some fun evening outings. This house is clearly a rental only, not occupied by the owners. Very basic living spaces. Minimal accoutrements and accessories in the kitchen and cupboards. Bring your own carving and chopping knives, unique cookware and spices if you want to live like your living at home. There were only 2 nice wine wine glasses. The hot water was a long wait to get hot. The dishwasher did not work. There is no outdoor firepit. The BBQ grill works but it is old and questionable. The house needs upgrades to be a called a premium priced VRBO rental. We would not rent here again. Lot's of other choices...

Property Manager is Unresponsive
The property and location is just what we hoped for and no issues with that. However, we had no hot water in the primary bedroom so we followed the long list of rules that stated "do not hesitate to text or call Jenny" (with a phone number). So we did that but the VM box was full. We then reached out to person listed for "general assistance" named Daniel and he was incredibly responsive and attentive to our problem. He is not employed by the property management firm but said he would let them know about the issue. In short, Daniel fixed the problem after a few hours and a trip to Home Depot. That worked for two days but on the 3rd day the same problem happened again. It was a Sunday but he came back and was able to get the hot water working quickly (clearly there is still an intermittent problem). These things happen and we're thankful that Daniel was on it. However, after the checkout I reached out to Olivia at the property management office via email to explain our situation. She told me the manager is out now and wouldn't be back for at least a week. I asked to speak with another manager since I assume that "Simplicity Vacation Property Management" isn't run but just these two women -- they manage quite a few properties. No one has reached out and it's been several days. I assume they are done with us. In short, this property would have been ideal for us if not for the hot water. It was inconvenient to have to share a bathroom with others (and not use the primary shower or tub) but we made do. Just glad we didn't have any bigger problems as the property management team isn't there to help. Aside from that it's important to note the extra fees here: "Host Fee" of an addt'l $163/night on top of the daily rate. It feels like these VRBO prices have gotten out of hand so we will likely use a hotel next time (and not have to follow so many rules).

We have stayed at many homes in La Quinta and this was one of our favorites! We loved the layout of the house and all of the great amenities including the pool and hot tub. Excellent communication with the property manager. We would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Great stay!
Loved the property - we had a great stay! Our only (minimal) qualm was the lighting. The primary bedroom needs brighter bulbs for reading. The family room also could use a couple of brighter lamps or bulbs. We love warm lighting (as opposed to white/cold) but there wasn’t enough lumens/watts. This is simply our preference and just a recommendation! But add some light and then some dimmers and your guests can adjust to their liking. As you know, the hot water takes forever - if you haven’t already, I would recommend asking your plumber about a recirculating pump. They aren’t very expensive and you would save a lot of water (and the hot should be almost instantaneous). Otherwise, the property was phenomenal - we loved the pool and spa - and the view of the course was spectacular. The beds were great. Kitchen was great. Loved the cart. Provisions were well stocked. Thank you!! We will definitely come again!

Really great setup with the pool and hot tub overlooking the golf course!
I’d recommend this location for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! Noise rules are strict within this community, but that worked out well for a chill family getaway with young kids. Home was clean and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back again!

Great home in beautiful neighborhood but no golf cart as advertised
We had a great stay at this PGA West house. My only complaint is that they advertised a golf cart and when we got there, it was not there. The property manager should have told us beforehand it was broken because we were a little disappointed. Definitely could use some updating but it’s a nice house with a gorgeous view.

Second time staying here; we enjoyed just as much as the first The pool is fun, enjoyed the bbq. Golf cart was out for service, definitely missed the convenience of that. We love this location and the roominess of the house, everyone has their own space.

Great View!
The view couldn’t be better. The house is dated and needs attention but was good. Several things went wrong and weren’t working (TV, hot tub, lights) but they were right on it and they were fixed. We had a great time overlooking the golf course and view of the Santa Rosa mountains!
