You’re having a dream. In it, you’re sitting on a comfortable chair outdoors next to a pool. The sun is setting and, as the air turns cool, you’re thankful for the outdoor fireplace that’s keeping your toes warm. You’re on a clean, manicured golf course ringed by swaying palm trees. In the distance rises a mountain range, turning dark blue in the fading light…Pinch yourself. When you stay at Legends, dreams are a reality.

This stunning modern masterpiece is situated on the 4th Fairway with southern double fairway views over the Weiskopf Golf Course and the Santa Rosa Mountains. And it has more to offer than just its incredible location. You'll fall in love with the poolside patio, with its two fireplaces, ample seating and dining space, and expertly groomed landscaping. You’re able to see it as well as the surrounding area through your home’s floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

Twelve guests can comfortably share this space. Draw straws for those who will be lucky enough to stay in the private casita, with its own living area and luxe bathroom amenities. There are no losers in terms of sleeping arrangements, though, as each bedroom is as stunning, clean, and comfortable as the last. Drop off your bags and congregate in the kitchen and living area to watch movies on the large screen TV or whip up your best interpretation of SoCal cuisine in a kitchen that would make Martha proud. Legends does it all and does it with style.

All AvantStay guests have access to our 24/7 guest experience line, a dedicated hospitality manager, and hotel-grade amenities.

*Home Truths:*
- Pool and spa heat is not available between May 1st and October 1st.
- Out of respect for our neighbors and the peaceful atmosphere, we ask that our guests refrain from playing music outdoors after 6 pm.
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- During the summer months, desert temperatures are extremely high, which may cause the pool temperature to rise as well. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to control this.

Parking Details:
- The garage can accommodate up to 2 cars.
- The driveway can accommodate up to 4 cars.
- A maximum of 5 cars can be parked onsite.
- Large vehicles (e.g., Sprinter vans) cannot be parked outside the home in PGA West. Use the garage or make other arrangements.
- Non-compliance will result in a $150-$200 fine payable by the guest.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was stocked with all that we needed and the location was great. Plenty of room for our 8 guests to spread out. Great TVs for watching sports. Beautiful pool! We will be back!!

We had 4 couples stay at Legends and it couldn’t have been better. The kitchen is well equipped, the two fireplaces were so great to hang out at night and the pool and spa were amazing. We would absolutely come back! Oh and fresh grapefruits to pick for morning juice. Just overall perfect!

Honestly it was better than the photos somehow. Amazing place and quick feedback from the team directly over text. Had a great time with my family to meet my newborn and I hope we make it an annual trip to that exact house. The kitchen had everything you need too!

Great Property, But Needs a Deep Clean
My family and I just stayed here for three nights. The house is great! Great location, great view, right on the golf course. The rooms were big and the pool was excellent. My only complaint was it was dirty. The couches had stains on them. The floor was very dirty. Everything outside had dust on it. That being said, we would definitely stay here again.

Annual Golf Trip
A group of 4 friends have been traveling to the Palm Desert/La Quinta area to play golf for about 15 years. We rent a house, play golf all day, come home and jump in the pool and cool off, head to dinner and come back for bed and do it all over the next day. This house is beautiful, easily accommodates 4 with our own rooms and bathrooms. House is very spacious with every amenity. Large screen tv inside and on the patio. Pool and spa were clean and accommodating. Fire pit is excellent and easily seats 6-10 people pe. Neighborhood was quiet and great views of the golf course. Would definitely stay here again.

Top notch home and even better service
Out of the dozen+ properties we have stayed at in La Quinta and surrounding areas, this was by far the best one. The view is literally perfect, the hot tub fits 6+ comfortably, and the bedroom/bed set up allows for a group of 10 (3 sets of couples) to be super comfortable. The kitchen was the best stocked we have seen - including a full spice rack and pretty much every skillet, blender, and dish you could think of (not to mention excellent glass tumblers for drinks). We ran into a couple of issues and the Avant Stay folks were super responsive and resolved everything. Of note, we ended up having our rental car die in the driveway the day we were checking out (really!), and the Avant Stay manager was incredibly understanding as we dealt with some ineptitude from Avis - he even was there the next day to let meet the two truck at the security gate. Overall, would honestly give this place 5+ stars if possible, especially in a day and age where service quality seems to be on the decline.

Great setup in a beautiful location
An excellent property with a fantastic property management group (AvantStay). Our group was in for 5 days following a wedding in Santa Barbara. We found the house to exceed our expectations. The house sits in a gated community and is very well maintained both inside and out. Furnishing were in good condition and linens/towels were plentiful. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of tableware, barware and cookware. We did not have to look for anything and were able to cook and re-heat without any issues. The spaciousness and layout of the indoor and outdoor spaces allowed our group to interact as much or as little as we wanted. A cup of coffee or ice-cold beer on the patio, watching the golfer pass is my idea of relaxation - - - you could not ask for a better location to watch the day pass. I would like to comment on how attentive and responsive AvantStay was prior, during and after our visit. I needed to engage them 2 times with 'issues'. My texts were answered immediately, and when one issue - resetting the network on the smart TV - required the local property manager, he called within 10 minutes of me raising the problem. We also experienced a small leak (drip) in the refrigerator. A repairman came the same day to address the issue. I would recommend this house without reservation and will look for AvantStay managed properties when looking for future rentals.
