This cozy La Quinta home is as charming as it is inviting. Ideal for that well-deserved family getaway, this cozy getaway boasts plenty of desirable amenities inside and out. This home is a mile and a half from some of the best hiking trails in the valley and just two miles from the historic La Quinta Resort and Spa - it's your choice between nature and nurture! For unique shopping and dining options, take a short drive or walk to Old Town La Quinta, just a little over a mile from your door. And don't forget your clubs and tennis rackets because there are countless courses and clubs throughout the area!

The visiting chef in your group will have everything they need in the full kitchen to prepare anything from quick breakfasts to complete dinners. Dine together at one of two tables, or bust out the board games for family game nights. Out back, you'll find an enclosed yard with a furnished patio, gas grill, and a sparkling pool. Borrow one of the many provided books and relax poolside with a cold drink! (You have the option to heat the pool for an added fee.)

Things to Know
The fireplace is decorative only - it's not available for use.
Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights, with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 99 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect place to stay while celebrating New Year’s in different venues. Had some issues with heater and the dishwasher, but minor in comparison to the comfort and cleanliness of the home.

Roomy and clean with amazingly comfy beds.
Plenty of room for the four of us. The house was clean and comfortable. It is older and has some needed repairs but nothing that impacted functionality (mostly aesthetic). The kitchen was not the best stocked but it had the necessities. The back yard is not as large as it appears and several bushes were dead but we were not there for the pool. Very convenient to the polo grounds and we will stay again.

Very easy rental. Kitchen well equipped, beds comfortable, plenty towels. Back yard cute but not as lush as photos suggest - plus covering pool equipment would make it more attractive! Door from living room to back yard did not lock - could easily be pushed open - safety concern! Also easy to lock yourself in garage as door from house shuts behind you and not clear that it’s locked! Would be good to provide locking instructions for front door! Otherwise all good!

Property was about as we expected. Not great, but nice. Pool was excellent for granddaughter to play in. Place is dog friendly which was important. My two significant criticisms are: 1. check in process thru Vacasa is ridiculously long and inconvenient. That alone would cause me to think twice about renting any property Vacasa manages. 2. thermostat bottoms out at 76. When its 100 degree outside that is not acceptable. That alone will cause us not to rent this property again.

Cozy & Close to All
Good location, easy to reserve, convenient check-in, check-out. Cute & colorful one-story adobe home with small pool. The living room was cozy and sunny in the mornings making a great place to sit & have a cup of coffee. Enjoyed sitting on the side patio in the late afternoon. The kitchen was well stocked with ample plates (colorful fiesta style), cookware, etc. & the pantry had basic items for cooking (s/p, olive oil, various cooking spices, etc.). Conveniently located close to “old town” La Quinta and only a five minute walk from the pedestrian path (Fred Wolff Bear Creek Nature Preserve) at end of street. All things considered, the house is in need of some obvious minor repairs/maintenance. Aside from this issue, it worked well for our party of four in town fir 3 days/nights for the Paribas Tennis Tournament.

Comfortable and charming, love the Spanish-American decor.
Everything was as advertised. Only wanted the pool heated for two days but had to pay for our three day stay. Listing did not indicate that there was a minimum number of days for the pool to be heated. Never was able to figure out how to turn the heat up with the thermostat. Nights were a bit chilly and could not determine how to increas the set temperature so that the system would come on/start heating. The instructions on the thermostat panel were confusing and no help. We were cold alll three nights. Days were warm and sunny and we enjoyed the stay in spite of the cooler evenings.

Estuvimos muy contentos. Todo tal cual se ve en las.fotos y especificaciones.
Todo muy bien. Lo único que no estuvo bonito fue no mandar por mail las especificaciones para entrar a la casa y hacernos ir a las oficinas en Palm Springs cuando ya no había nadie. No era necesario. Perdimos mucho tiempo en dar esa vuelta. Por lo demás todo muy bien. Sin dud una casa para regresar y recomendar. Estuvimos 6 adultos sin problema. Sugeririamos cambiar el colchón de la recámara principal. Un poco incómodo por no tener firmeza.

We had an amazing time
Overall the house was great. The only thing was that at night the house would get super hot. We would all wake up sweating. We tried to make the house feel comfortable but it was just hot and only at night. Another thing we had a few tiny ants on one of the dining tables. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, the pool was amazing and we had a great time.

Cozy and quaint
Cozy retreat lived up to its name. It was Cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard, enjoying the beautiful mountain view and the pool. The kitchen area was great for meal prep. Two big dining areas were great for meals and playing board games. Also enjoyed being walking distance from Bear Creek trail. The only thing that could make it any cozier would be a nice recliner I the living room! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again

Perfect getaway
I loved the decor, layout, pool, and amenities. La Quinta is a quaint, gorgeous neighborhood and close to everything you want to do here. Lots of towels and everything organized. Super clean.

Disappointing trip
The property is decorated well and clean. The neighborhood is nice back yard and pool very small. The outdoor furniture needs updating as it's old and uncomfortable. The beds are average not to comfortable, in the twin room comforter is weighted which is strange. Master bedroom duvet cover has seen better days. It has a coffee maker in the kitchen but no coffee to be found. The freezer had no ice we purchased a bag. During our stay most of the TV channels didn't work and when I called the manager he said it might have been the winds and I can try calling the cable company which is strange as that's not our home. Then he said he will talk to someone and call back but I received no phone call. We had a special needs family member with us who went without entertainment. Will not stay at this property again

The local Vacasa agency was a disaster to speak with. The property presented old and smelly. The inside smelled like pet urine and was dusty. One shower was broken and we had to report that and we had to travel back, while out enjoying our day, to leave the keys. We went through two days of harassment, paying the separate charge of having the pool heated only to have them respond 2 days later, mid-day, to turn on the pool heat. Smelly bed pillows, broken blinds, non-functioning back porch light, broken outdoor table and smelly home is what we received for the listed rate. We left early the last night because we just couldn’t endure staying another night. The listing is not the same as the condition of the home. Not worth the fees to stay at this property.

La Quinta Cove getaway
The property is very close to recreation, golf and restaurants. The quarters for 2 were great-- can accommodate 6 easily.. with 3 bedrooms 2 full baths.. The back yard is small with the pool --so could be tight with a larger group.. its extra to have the pool heated in cooler months but its a must-- but very pricey...Everything you need for your stay is there-- very clean and neat.. corner house with views of the mountains.. The palmer restaurant is a must go to-- only a few blocks away.. Go see the zoo and the living desert- love the celebrity golf course at Indian wells.. you will enjoy your stay..

Bad experience
When we arrived a man approached us saying he was there to fix a link - I was given no prior knowledge or a heads up that someone would be coming by. I was on hold for as long as he was there and he said that he didn't see anything major and that the guest bathroom sink would be leaking the whole time. He asked if it bothered us and we said no so he said he'd leave it and fix it later and that "if we had a problem not to call him". The next day the guest shower stopped working so I emailed guest services instead of waiting on hold for them since I never got through the day before and no one responded. As of today I have not gotten an email reply or a phone call to discuss. Very disappointed.
