IslandTime Townhome - Sunsets… Joni’s Beach… So Close to Everything!
Conveniently located in town directly across from Joni's Beach; IslandTime is a
delightful townhome with three levels of thoughtfully updated living space.
The first level is handicap accessible from two off-street parking places right next to the
IslandTime’s back door. It has a bedroom with a queen bed and an attached handicap
appointed bathroom. This main level features a great room with a full kitchen, dining
area and living room. The front door has direct access to Joni’s Beach and is adjacent
to a wonderful screened-in porch with a second dining table and a great couch for
relaxing and watching the majestic sunsets of Lake Superior.
On the second level there are two additional bedrooms; the front lake-facing bedroom
features two queen beds, a full en-suite bathroom and a private deck with more great
viewing of the lake. The second bedroom has a set of twin beds and also features an
en-suite full bathroom. A full laundry is located on this level as well.
The third level is a newly renovated master bedroom, which also overlooks Lake
Superior. It contains a king bed and a luxurious en-suite bath.

From the owners… Madeline Island is so incredibly peaceful. When you arrive, you will
feel the stress of everyday life melting away. It will feel like you’re going back in time to
years gone by as you walkabout the quiet neighborhood, ride your bike down the middle
of our often-carless streets or hang out on one of IslandTime’s decks or at Joni’s Beach.
The island is full of more vigorous adventure if desired; from cliff jumping to kayaking,
there are many experiences to be had. We have an ongoing family tradition of stopping
whatever we are doing and taking 15-30 minutes every clear night (of which there are
many) to sit on Joni’s dock and watch the sun set. During spring, summer, fall or winter,
you will enjoy peace and tranquility as you listen to the sounds of the Lake Superior
waves. We have stayed in many different houses on Madeline Island over the years.
We bought IslandTime because this place was the right balance for our young family
and continues to be a great fit as our kids mature into their teens and twenties. This
magical island and this great townhome check all the boxes. When you’re on Madeline
Island and peacefully watching the sunset, you will be fully immersed in IslandTime!
Enjoy!
