Truly affordable self catering alpine luxury !
A wonderful location and on the whole a well thought out residence. We were in the Emerald block - which is the furthest from reception… but still has easy in and out access and gets the sun on the generous balcony from about 2.30 - for those seeking alternative relaxation to the snow.
The spa facilities are excellent, as you would expect from a residence which is only a couple of years old. Apartment is very well equipped - even down to the things that us Brits often find are missing from French owned properties- big mugs and a kettle ! The nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch.
Boot warmers in the lockers went down exceptionally well. Supermarket reasonably well stocked and only a short stones throw away - but my it was expensive ! Advise food shopping in Moutiers or Bourg SM if you get a chance.
A few minor points… as people have said.. Beds are very hard. Would maybe benefit from mattress toppers. Inventory is pretty daunting and maybe not what you’d expect to do in a 5 star residence when you arrive. But if you don’t there are hefty charges. Only 2 spa robes are supplied… which for a party of 5 means that 3 were walking to the spa in towels. If you have room it is worthwhile considering - especially if you are in one of the chalets that need to cross the parking garage to reach the Spa ! And only 2 wifi codes supplied ???? Frustrating that the smart TVs are brand new but not connectable to the internet !!!
But overall a very positive experience.
