"The chalet was perfect for a big group of 11 men (and room for more!), 5 minute walk from La Roche ski lift. There is a bar and ski hire at the bottom of the lift, although no shop, so we drove up to Plagne centre each morning. Communication with Audrey is exceptional, she is extremely attentive and answers your queries quickly. The living room is great for communal dining and evening entertainment (we played lots of cards). The Olympic bobsleigh is a short walk up the hill."

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...

"Chalet Pierra Menta is a beautiful chalet in a great location. We were a party of 14 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of space for us all. The rooms were comfortable and the chalet very well equipped with the ground floor ski/boot room, sauna and self catering equipment. Communication with the owner, Edward was brilliant from the moment of booking, during our stay and through departure. With enough snow the chalet is ski in and a short walk (200m) for ski out. "We had an excellent stay at the chalet, which is perfectly placed for the slopes and not far form the town of Les Coches.The facilities in the chalet were great.Worth noting that there is only one oven, which if you pack the chalet with 15 people, as we did, then cooking takes a bit of time management, but otherwise, fantastic chalet and would happily return!"

"We stayed over New year and had a really great time. Marcel was able to assist when required and clear with communication. We stayed as 10 adults which was fine and suited us. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms with twin beds and one room with 2 bunk bed (4 beds). The group really enjoyed the sauna on the property. Overall a great stay. Thanks."

"Our family of five enjoyed our stay very much. The chalet is well-located and well-equipped with everything you need: laundry machine, dishwasher and everything one needs in a kitchen from pressure cooker to fondue kit, Great books for adults and children in several languages too! Owners are very helpful and friendly. The stairs are tricky for young children until they get used to them. The only thing that could be improved perhaps is the mattress in the main bedroom. Other than that,...

La vue est magnifique et le retrait du chalet par rapport à la route est reposant après la foule des pistes. La proximité du télésiège de La Roche rend la connexion avec le domaine de La Plagne très facile, et permet de longues journées de ski. Tout bon !"

"The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski area pass - this hotel is so far at one end of the area you'll never make it over to Les Arcs and there is loads of skiing in La Plagne "

"Superbly located hotel directly on the slopes and in the centre of Belle Plagne. Excellent staff and breakfast was really good. Decent size rooms with excellent views. Hot shower over bath and nice main bar with lovely fire. Decent value- will def return as such a huge ski area "

Excellent location for ski

"Fantastic location for skiing! Locker rooms on slope meters from chair lifts. Good choice of food for breakfast with amazimg views of mountains and bottom of pistes. Large bar area with big screen. Hotel is tired but very comfortable and in similar condition to other ski hotels i have used. Arrived late into resort and bo restaurants were open but duty manager went and found food for us which was very much appreciated!!"

"Thank you Isabelle for a great stay! Your apartment was exactly as described and you couldn't have been more helpful in assisting with our check in process and general queries. The apartment is perfectly positioned for ski in / ski out via the piste down to the Montchavin chair lift. it is also very well located for accessing the restaurants and shops in Les Caches by foot. We all had a great time!"
