We enjoyed the wildlife, deer, rabbits, squirrels
It was beautiful weather and unfortunately no screens on doors and most windows. The flies were unbelievable and unbearable. We brought food to cook on the BBQ, it was a small weber a foot off the ground and full of "stuff". We also brought firewood for the fire pit. Umm, that was not meant to be either. Horse shoes and pits would have been nice, or maybe corn hole game.

Quiet Get Away
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet house out in the country, watching rabbits, birds and deer right out the front window. It is an older home but has been updated and nicely decorated. It was fully equipped in the kitchen...even had a coffee grinder which was great for us! Communication with the owner was great--quick responses to any questions I had. It was a little further out of town than we realized, but it turned out not to be a real problem.

Very nice with issues
We had our 2 dogs with us and the cabin and fenced property were spacious as described and the WiFi worked well. When we arrived both bathroom waste baskets had not been cleaned and sheets were left in the dryer. If you have dogs please be warned about 20% of the property had grass with foxtails. It is in a very quiet area and the dirt road was great for walking the dogs but you have to drive over 1 1/2 miles of a dirt road to get to it.

Great for my dog
We came to escape all the fireworks and have a vacation for the dog. It was amazing, we watched deer, rabbit, chipmunks, and so many stars. The house was super comfortable, awesome beds, great kitchen, even in all the heat the house stayed very comfortable.

Nice place for kids and dogs.
The dog loved chasing my twin grandsons around (but she didn’t try to chase the bunny’s). We loved looking out and seeing all the bunny’s. The only think I can think of that could have been better was if I didn’t have to keep checking g on the wildfire. 😉 We will check to see if the house is available when we return next year. Five star.

The Oregon Outback!!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming home nestled in the outskirts of the Oregon Outback. It exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the serene ambiance of the surrounding nature and the warm welcome of the fully fenced 2-1/2 acre property (that our doggos thoroughly enjoyed chasing bunnies and squirrels in....) Spacious rooms and cozy furnishings made us feel right at home. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. We covered a lot of ground during our stay...La Pine State Park, Paulina and East Lakes, Newberry Volcanic Monument, Crack in the Ground, Fort Rock, Hole in the Ground, Lava River Cave, Crater Lake, and Cowboy Dinner Tree...and it was always a treat to return to the peace and tranquility of our home away from home. My wife and I also worked 3 days from "home", the internet never let us down. Each morning started with coffee and a mule deer parade down the road out front, no lie! We were also able to explore the local Forest Service Roads with our Polaris RZR SxS leaving straight from the house! The communication with Alison (one of the property owners) was excellent from start to finish. She was responsive to all our inquiries and provided helpful recommendations. Overall, our stay at this La Pine retreat was nothing short of magical. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, this home offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.

Peaceful place to unwind
What a find! We were looking for a peaceful getaway to recharge and we found it at this home. We enjoyed using the home as a base to explore nearby lakes and museums as well as the friendly town nearby. Our dogs loved the fenced acreage and we found the home well equipped, especially in the kitchen. It was easy to stay there much of the time (and we did), simply unwinding in the cozy space. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Terrific place to stay off the beaten path yet close to lots of activities. The fenced yard and dog friendly owners allowed for our whole family to enjoy a spring break trip to central Oregon. The accurate listing left us with no surprises and a enjoyable stay.

Peaceful dog friendly home with large fenced in property
Had such a wonderful stay for my 30th birthday. Stocked with kitchen supplies and tons of other amenities. My dogs absolutely loved having the fenced in 2 acres to run around. Very clean and comfortable. The road getting in is a bit bumpy but not an issue. I would highly recommend this property.
