"We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But...

"The hotel has a pool which is great for hot days. There is also a restaurant and it is close to other things in the town. "

"This hotel was an overnight stop off between the coast of Asturias and Rioja. It was very affordable. It did not have the charm of the old buildings but everything we could wish for was there. The food was cheap and very good. The breakfast was enjoyable. The service was good. No complaints. Great Value for money"

" A short distsnce outside Potes, nice chalet style hotel. Clean & basic, but comfortable with lounge & garden that caught the evening sun. Nearby restaurant was closed the night we stayed. WiFi signal needs boosting to reach all rooms, but was fine in lounge area, near reception. Friendly & efficient staff. Continental breakfast was included in the room rate."
