"This chalet is in a very good location for hiking. The chalet itself is 1 of 2 similar rentable chalets although when we were there the other chalet was not occupied. The owners home is also onsite but situated behind a row of trees which afford plenty of privacy. It is a spacious and comfortable log cabin downstairs but upstairs there are beams at 1.6mtrs high (Ouch). The owners are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our week here very much."

"This is the fourth time I have been to La Prairie. I come here mainly to indulge my hobby of astrophotography as the skies are dark and the weather good, but you can't guarantee clear skies at night even in the south of France! Francoise is very welcoming, helpful and never intrusive. Isis the dog is perhaps the most friendly dog you will ever meet. The view across to the hills is amazing, the gite is clean and comfortable and I am sure I will return again."
