"We arrived at the location and found it in good condition with friendly hosts who were helpful and generous with there time as well allowing us to enjoy are holiday. The pool was fantastic and private and the placement of the property gives you fantastic access to the towns of Apt, Lourmarin and Bonnieux. We enjoyed some great food in the restaurants in all of these as well as travellling to Aix Provence for a little shopping. The facilities on site allowed us to have BBQs and cooking dinners...

"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."

"From the time we arrived until we departed (too soon) we had a marvelous time. The gorgeous setting in Provence was perfect for our family of five. We could easily travel to towns like Gordes and Cassis to return to relax by the pool and dine in the patio kitchen. We even could watch some of the Olympics. Our host Peter greeted us when we arrived and had breakfast waiting for us our first morning. Truly a special time for our family! "

"We had an idyllic week in early June as a family of 7 adults, so were able to make the most of the lovely pool and BBQ area. The property is beautiful and well equipped and the setting in Murs simply could not be better - a beautiful but off the beaten track village with some great walking on the doorstep, a fantastic restaurant in the village and an excellent boulangerie within a few minutes walk of the house. And really accessible for many of the other things to see in the Luberon and beyond,...

Winding stone staircases inside and out that give this home a castle feel. Quiet and secluded it is a place to fully relax in with enough modern touches to keep the whole family entertained and quiet corners for Nana and Grandad to retreat to. The house and property were outstanding - beyond our expectations - and all of the people with whom we dealt, being our hosts, Michele and Olivier (who we did not meet in person), the housekeeper Farida, and the property maintainer, Olivier, were lovely. "This house was perfect for friends to spend a weekend in the countryside, and the owner and Aunt that lives next door were so helpful and responsive. The pool was beautiful and home was clean, lots of dishes and cooking materials for hosting. It was difficult to find the home, so better directions would be appreciated for other guests. "The house is set on an amazing fairy tail property. Fish ponds. Vineyards. Trees. Flowers lavender. It’s astonishing. The patio is so beautiful it doesn’t seem real. Bathrooms were very clean and modernized upstairs. Such a perfect property. Very well stocked and we wanted for nothing. We really didn’t want to leave. It was the best VRBO we have and probably will ever stay in. Virginie was so lovely and helpful and genuine."
