"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. "Good location near a bus stop and shops. The kitchen had a dishwasher, a filter coffee machine and a kettle. There were insufficient supplies like dishwasher tablets, and toilet paper in the room for more than a day or two and the rooms were only cleaned once a week unless you paid a fee. Some of the furniture is showing signs of wear."
