"I’m sorry to our host that this review took me so long to write (six months on while on our subsequent trip). This place was really excellent and the owner was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. At the time, we were traveling with a one-year old, and he really went out of his way to make our stay in Nice a good one. Thank you! "I wanted to describe my amazing stay at Maison Lamartine so that anybody traveling to Nice will be advised of this most wonderful establishment. As soon as I arrived, the staff met me outside to take in my luggage and suggest a nearby parking garage where I was given a special rate for parking with in-out privileges. A real gem!

"This is a gem of an apartment and we feel very lucky to have found it. Liz and Quentin are wonderful hosts, they gave us a warm welcome and made our stay extremely comfortable. The amenities are excellent, the apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, the heated pool was a huge hit with our children and having use of the garden terrace and bbq was a real bonus. The area has magnificent scenery and the views from the apartment are really impressive. Gatierres is very pretty and only a short walk away. The location meant we could easily explore a number of beautiful and interesting places including Nice, Vence, Tourrettes, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco. I would defintely recommend to anyone. A huge thank you to Liz and Quentin for your hospitality, it was lovely to meet you both xx"

Rent vacation home St Martin Alpes Maritimes for 6 people, air conditioning

Great space for family holiday

"The apartment is downstairs from the owner’s family but this was fine - we had full use of the huge garden and pool. Spacious bedrooms, and great to have good air conditioning in the August heat. Pool is really big and great for teenage kids. Everything we needed was there, and Sandrine gave us a thorough check in and a helpful folder with tips for local visits. Only downside was that it was a little further to drive to Nice and other places on the French Riviera than we had realised. But overall great."

Fantastic place, great hosts

"We loved our week's stay in Saint-Martin-du-Var. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed (a family of 4). A very quiet location with scenic views and easy access to the mountains and to the coast. And we couldn't have wished for nicer hosts!"

"We stayed at Auberge du Redier during our visit to Nice. We could not have asked for a better stay. The owner Celine and her staff is attentive and did everything to make sure our stay there was perfect! The hotel is in Colomars, about 20 min drive to Nice. Quiet and beautiful property to relax in after exploring all the beautiful villages around. The restaurant serves amazing French food and we made sure to have dinner there two out of three nights we were there. We’ll definitely be back!"
